Man that was fun! I laughed quite a bit when that bench fell over 🤣 it’s always nice that you are honest in your videos. You could have easily faked waking up on the cot, but you still showed us that you ended up sleeping in the car. I’m still trying to find some motivation and get my next video done. Thanks for bringing us along Scotty!

Ahhhh ya I was like what in the world when that bench fell. Definitely a hazard. Yep I try to keep it as real as I can. I slept so much better in my car though. I can't wait to see you do another video. Your first one was great. I have gone back a couple times and watched it for real😎👍💯. Well hope all is well up there. Hey do you guys still have any snow?
@GMdieselman8 ай бұрын
@@scottysurvival no snow whatsoever. We had a warm streak last week, there was motorcycles out everywhere! Today is windy and colder, but it sure isn’t much like winter at all.

1st comment... Great to see you back!...Excellent video... Btw, I'd commented on the CFP-90 video how I was trying to adapt the pack to an ALICE frame without damaging it or making permanent changes... Well, I did it! No holes in the bag, didn't need to remove the rubber shoulder strap attachment...and I can put it back to original configuration if need be...

Awesome you #1 🥇🥇🥇🥇. Hey I think I remember your comment. I'm really glad it worked out for you. I have never seen a CFO-90 on a Alice frame. Must be pretty epic. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. It was some much needed time out for sure. Thanks for watching and commenting appreciate it much😎💯👍👍

Hi Scotty, good to see you back. Glad you didn't hurt yourself more with that bench seat! l Never had that happen. I haven't had much luck with cots either. I have a few of them, but unless you sleep like King Tut or Dracula, they're quite uncomfortable. My elbows are always hitting the metal bars and those extra wide cots are so expensive. I've been sticking to the ground with comfortable air mats along with closed cell foam pads underneath. The winter here in Michigan was a joke. I think it's all my fault, I bought a new hot tent and stove last year. It will probably never snow again...I'm going stir crazy, haven't camped since last November. Have a weekend trip planned for the end of April. Take care. Can't wait to see what mystery military tent you'll be using. 👍🏻

God bless brother💯👍

Had my fare share of cutting my arm and hands with my blades. Sliced my arm from a karamit and sliced a layer from my Smith and Wesson Border Guard fold when scraping some plastic. The karamit left a scar.

Ouch..ouchy...😬😬😬. Ya when I looked down at my cut I was like yep going to need a couple stitches of course I had those people out their said nah all you needed was super glue. Which Yes definitely in a survival situation, but it was right on a a part where it creases😩

Now that your are home take that bandaid off. Put some neosporin on it. Then take 2 vitamin C a day every day for 10 days. Vit C speeds up healing it will heal double fast. bandaids slow healing down by the way.

Hey! Great video! The Wiggy's freedom shelter bag doesn't cinch completely closed?
@scottysurvival8 ай бұрын
Thank you.👍💯. It was a lot of fun. On the Wiggy's bag. Yes and no it doesn't cinch all the way. I only say that because it's the fabric their is still a very tiny tiny hole after cinching it down, but other than that it cinches all the way. I was just thinking air flow can still get in a little bit.

I have a video on tent pads search my channel for pads. Now understand 70% if not more of your heat is lost under you. Without a proper pad you will be very cold. I have the teton with the tent and they are ok. I still prefer a good tent with a good pad. Now I run 0 degree C or 32F quilt. They way about a pound. I run 2 when its really cold. I have taken this system down to -20f and colder because I can double up on the quilts. So my quilts do not really go that low. But my pad does. Sometime I will double or triple up on my pads. Soooooo the pad is actually more important then the bag. You slept in the car hahahahaahh come on.

O yes I know. It's conduction. I slept for a hour but woke up and had heart burn, and was very restless. It's always been hard for me to sleep in a bag, but most of the time I make myself fall asleep. I should have brought some quill 💤💤💤💤😴😴😴😴. I've seen some of those Teton cots and tents. They look pretty amazing I do have a military cot tent on the way for our next camping adventure😀
