Saved me time, thanks again. Worst PPC I ever used was the M-11. Jammed in every possible way, parts hard to find and the magazines seemed to have no standard. Zero reliability issues so far with 500 red bulk practice 115gr fmj and 127gr Hornady hollow points. Came with sb tactical folding stock and 3 thirty rd mags in nice hard carry case. Blow back but still soft shooting (No, not like an mp5 level soft). Of all my PCCs, this is my favorite!

I didn’t think anyone else knew about the camp carbine! Ruger had a rifle out at the same period of time. The marlin had Smith&wesson magazines! The smith&wesson ruled at least in my world. At the time I thought that a rifle in 9mm was diminutive. So sick because I have not purchased firearms because of how I felt. Only to see a need or many reasons to purchase them when they were no longer available! On military pay I missed a lot of good stuff over the years. The camp is the champ! Higher capacity and actually practical! Smart move!

The best deals come from your local gun shop, where you have been a customer for years, and you are friends with all the employees and you know the owner. It doesn't take long to establish, build, and maintain a good relationship like this. I moved to Nevada two years ago. I love my local gunsmith/retail weapons store. Most recently I took my Tavor 7 down there to see what I might do about upping my game in the 7.62 column. I bought that T-7 at his shop 2 years ago after I got my X95, (thank you Tim). Long story short; the X95 was the bomb; T-7 not so much. I paid 2k for it. My shop owner, gave me 1.6 for the weapon, reduced the price on the weapon I was purchasing, and I walked out with a new Scar 20s at a great price. I doubt I will ever buy a weapon on line, or join a business like BDU. Nothing negative on BDU, I just don't see the point. Great vid Tim. Thanks for doing your program.

I know I’m very late but, Reliability issues are in the magazines, not the gun. Kriss readily replaces magazines that have the follower drag issue. I have had zero with the 10mm with 700 rounds or so to date. The whole thumb issue hitting the charging handle is 100% personal issue at fault. It isn’t a large contact area at all and it takes some very basic minor adjustment to not encounter that issue. Same with a reciprocating CH SCAR. Once people train themselves to use the monkey grip instead of the whole thumbs open grip, most never go back.

@@MountainPF No, from what he said. Stribog is still fixing their issues and Sig is selling what they advertise as gen 2 guns with still faulty gen 1 parts in them. How did he get a full gen 2 gun? Sig sent him it directly for testing. That is worse then Stribog still actively working to fix their magazine issue. The SP9A1 and SP9A3 are not the same generational gun like the Sig MPX is. As he stated the MPX is generational because they stop support on a generation because they stop making it. The SP9A1 and SP9A3 are different guns. They are both still fully supported since they are both still fully in production. Lumping them in together as the same gun was unfair in the review. Saying over and over again that you can fix the Sig problems in the aftermarket but saying the Stribog was an absolute dumpster fire even though the aftermarket has also fixed their magazine problem for hundreds less then a MPX is again an unfair review.

Even the new gun Sig just gave him directly that he did a video on just 6 days ago needed him to purchase an entirely new barrel for a $1800 gun for $400 more to fix the glaring accuracy issues the gun has. The sub $700 Stribog just needs a new lower that costs less then $200 to get perfect reliability and accuracy. This is giving a huge pass to Sig and he didn't even mention in this video that he swapped out the barrel on the MPX to make it actually be accurate.

My PCC is a cheap Hi Point 995. I bought it because it was $150 used at a gun show. I've kept it because it is a really fun range toy that is cheap to feed. (excluding the 2020 problems) I bought mine missing the rear sight, but Hi Point sent me a new one for free so it was a better deal than I thought at first. I've put maybe 1500 rounds of Monarch steel case through mine and have been nothing but happy with it. As I said I bought mine as a fun cheap range toy. Well I bough it for cheap target practice, but it has turned into a fun cheap range toy.

I ran a Stribog for 1100 rounds before giving up. Out in the desert the mags slowly degraded and resulted in high failures rates. Most of which occurred near the end of the mag. Also because the top of the receiver has large open cavities, if you try to fix the malfunction, and at any point tilt the gun up, there is a very good chance a empty casing will fall into the upper causing a quasi bolt override. It's a mess. This gun was so overhyped because of it's price; tons of reviewers reviewed positively because they shot barely over 300 rounds with it, and then gave it a positive pass.

Stormwerkz makes an aluminum mag well adapter for the Nak 9. I think the rear “bumper” could use some reinforcement (polymer over metal). I have a Nak -9 Draco and have been pretty happy with it. It’s not as nice as a KV-9, but it is nice that it uses Glock mags.

Man coming back to this video, I have an even more frankengun MPX than Jason: * Gas system is gen 2 with the six sided bit with the hole in it * Ejection port is the larger version * Originally came with the gen 1 type bolt/carrier/firing pin, the no spring version. My firing pin broke last year and when I contacted Sig they offered a free upgrade to the current (edit: looking online, looks like I got the gen 2 bcg not the ACTUAL current 'gen 3') version with the updated firing pin w/ spring and updated bcg. I just had to pay for shipping. Really good service on their part in that regard, was really happy with turnaround time. * Came with gen 2 mag * Keymod handguard, has since been replaced by a Samson Mfg mlok So basically all gen 2 except for the barrel attachment hardware and internals. I think. Tim if you read this and don't mind asking, could you ask Jason when he bought his? I got mine Nov 2016 (election day actually) for reference. Was bought at a local gun store, not sure how long they had it.

@Julio Adorno-Rivera It makes absolutely zero sense. How does Sig finally fixing the MPX's issues a few years later have anything to do with the MPX he bought that he called a "dumpster fire"? Sorry but if I spent $1800 on a firearm, Im gonna be more annoyed at it when it doesnt work any better than $650 firearm than I am at the $650 firearm.

@@p331083 because you already have the first iterations buyers. Tim does a vid and tells you they fixed it with the next iteration and then they get a second wave of buyers. Tim then puts a couple hundred into a barrel and all the fist gen customers stop complaining. All for the price of sending tim one or two guns. Literally what happened with mpx.

@Julio Adorno-Rivera I do have a soft spot for Sig. The Sig guys love telling everyone I'm a Sig basher... no, I'm not. I just share my experiences both positive and negative. It just so happened that for a while there I was getting a number of bad Sig products. They are capable of doing great things but I think more than anything they can be victims of their own success.

You know it is not the first time i have heard bad things about Stribog. Many people have had issues. Funny how people get mad when you tell the truth. I for one appreciate the honesty you give. That is what makes your supporters come here, to get an unbiased opinoon. You know i remember the first video i saw of yours about the Glock and limp wristing. You caught heck for telling the truth but look what it got you in the long rjn! A lot of fans that support you for being honest and open. Thanks again for all you do. We appreciate it.

The 9mm AK is actually a Century WASR-M/Chiappa RAK-9. I have one and I like it. I did replace the furniture with Magpul like most people replace any factory AK furniture. Now it feels like a tank. The comments on the polymer magwell aren't valid IMO. If you have a problem with polymer you have a problem with the majority of modern firearms. As far as I can tell the plastic spacer at the back has no real function and could easily be 3D printed(Like all plastic parts in the future). Bought some extra 10rd ak style magazines from Chiappa and an extra Beretta 92 adapter and now I have a great 9mm carbine. Plus it takes GLOCK MAGS. What's not to like?

The enhanced vector pistols fixes most of your issues with the previous generation you complained about. From the available rail/grip space with the extended handgaurd to the back folding hing(metal instead of the previous gen plastic) which allows for the use of the most common braces around that use an AR15 buffer tube. It's been available for a few years now.
