O.K. Cizzie not sure how you'll take this.?.?. Your all about ESP guitars and EMG pickups right? The world recently lost one of the best METAL guitarists of all time who has multiple signature series ESP guitars with EMG pickups. I'm referring to Jeff Haneman of SLAYER(may he r.i.p)...if you can cover any SLAYER song dedicated to him like Reign in Blood or ANYTHING(including solo's) and just nail it. Not only will you acquire the utmost esteem from every metal fan out there. I also in any further comment will refer to you as Goddess Cizzie as should any other self respecting metal guitarist, fan or otherwise. But it's just an idea and not all ideas are good. Think about it... quite the challenge from a very large library of songs. Some with very intense fast finger working solo's. Your still the bomb if you decide against it so don't get me wrong. I'd do it but i'm honestly just not good enuf. You are!!!

alot of people never intonate or even adjust the truss rod to straighten their neck. Most just pull it out of the box and play.

I bring my guitars to a repair guy every now and then to set everything up properly. It's been a while since the last check ups though, I'll get to it again next month! How often do you think guitars should be intonated etc, when I play about 5 hours a week (average)?

Cizzie Well if you have a tuner you can check if it needs to be intonated. Just hit the 12 bar on every string (separately) followed by the harmonics on the 12 bar. If the harmonics match the tune on the fret it's fine. You probably need to intonate it every time you change strings and maybe 2-3 times til next string change, that's usually what I do.
