Put leftover candle jar in the freezer for a while. Take it out and turn it over and the wax will slide right out! Then break the pieces up and use the wax in a wax warmer! Then you won't ever waste the last remnants of your favorite candle!

Quick tip.. get a candle wax burner! When my candles get to where I can’t light them anymore I sit it on the wax melter, it just melts the wax and I get several more uses until the scent eventually dissipates. 🌸💞😘

For that body lotion that's leftover, the Container Store sells these caps that you can put on (with a few sizes) and you can flip the bottle over and get EVERY LAST DROP! I just got them as gift in December and it has changed my WORLD!

For the leftover candle wax I just started doing something new. I very carefully break the jar, the Bath & Body Works ones are thin and easy to break, and take out the remaining wax. Then I form a dish with some tinfoil and lay the wax in the tin foil dish on a cookie sheet lined with a little tinfoil and put it in the oven at 170 degrees. The wax will melt into the makeshift dish and when it melts I take it out and carefully remove the wicks. Then as the wax is cooling and forming in the dish I cut it into squares so as soon as it completely melted I can easily peel the foil off and you have a whole bunch of squares for a wax warmer. The process sounds difficult but it is super easy!

Wow, had you not sawed that bottle in half I wouldn’t believe how much product was still in there. I cut my tubes in half and turn bottles upside down to get everything out as best I can. I hate being wasteful with things I use. I’ve been shopping my stash and not buying just to buy or stock up with the intention of using later. It is satisfying I must say. Thanks pretty lady.

If you like the jar the candle comes in but you’re done burning it, stick it in the freezer for a few hours, then take it out and the wax will come right out. Then you can reuse the jar and make your own candle. Hobby Lobby/Amazon have some great make your own kits.

I do the exact same thing as you do with getting out every bit of the product. I use scissors for the small tubes and puncture the big ones with my box cutter. It does make me feel good once I have every bit. Thank you for your vlogs, I enjoy them. My daughter is MFA major and when you talk it reminds me of her and that I always awesome to hear the similarities of writers.

OMG Char!!!! 🤦🏽‍♀️ Girl you have to use a oil warmer or one of those cup warmers...set the candle on top til the wax melts then you can combine similar scents or pour into smaller candle holders to burn. You can find wicks on Amazon all different sizes and widths!!!! 😍🤗😇🤩

I am def gonna cut open my bigger lotions and such! That's CRAZY!!! SO MUCH LEFT!! I do cut smaller ones and especially the more pricey ones. I hate wasting stuff. I tried the lip balm hack after you showed that in an earlier video. Even for the not as pricey ones theres still a crazy amount left over once it stops turning. Hope you have a great weekend!!!

Love this video! My Eucerin pump lotion always has a ton left in the bottom. I cut the bottle half way down and scoop out the rest. I'd rather have a squeeze bottle than those pumps. Thanks! :-)

Hello, love this video. I know you use the beauty spatula to get all the product out of jars. You should try the flip-it for getting the rest of the product out of the large hand pump items. Safer than a saw!

Thanks to you, Charlotte, and your first video featuring cutting containers open, the other day I “finished” a high-end sample tube of Revision Skincare tinted moisturizer, grabbed the scissors, and cut open the tube. I always boil hot water and stick the candles over and then pour them into something else and use it for candle warmers.

I am like you. I want every last drop of product that I can get from a bottle, jar, can, etc. Don't care if it's 99 cents or $99 (not that I have anything that expensive but just as an example), I'm not wasting it. lol That is the cutest saw. I want it. I'm building a tool box and that would be a great example. I still need to buy that beauty spatula too. The amount of Suave in that bottle was astounding. That's a good amount left over.
