Keith, you are nearly there and quick turnaround. Rear frame looks great. Question.. would you/ have you considered swapping the rubber doughnuts for springs for a better ride.?
@classicminiworkshop3 жыл бұрын
No, I done some research in the past. Due to the small space the springs have to sit in they are very small and not progressive. An advantage of the rubber cones is they get stiffer the more you compress them so they actually work pretty well.

Keith thanks for your insight, I am just under halfway building my Mini and I think I'll probably get it on the road maybe next year I've opted to go for the springs not fitting into the rolling chassis just yet so I'll have to wait to see if this were a marked improvement over the cones

Keith the details on this car is amazing mate, wishI had the passion for doing more detailing, I would like to ask how does the rear suspension on your mini don't fall out when jacked up, I was going to make a stopper on the rear subframe, iam running 10" wheels, any ideas 👍

I have the HiLo's adjusted so there is no free play or only a small amount, not enough for it all to come apart. It helps if the cones are new too
