Had the same on the pickup, the metal was so thin and it had repairs at the ends and even they were rotting away, as you said £45 for a new one, will last for years and you will be happy with the result, great vids Keith 👍👍

Fair play Keith, I did the same with my boot floor, bought the repair panels and just ended up finding more and more. Before starting it I should’ve put a new boot in it, but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Great work as always though pal! And that lip on the bulkhead looks in really good condition compared to stuff that came off

Hi. Don’t replace or refit the bulkhead sound insulation! It is one big sponge which holds any water and moisture against the bulkhead and crossmember. As soon as I bought my mpi ripping the insulation out was my first job. It does make it a bit louder inside but I’d rather have that than a rotting bulkhead/scuttle etc.

I know what you mean, I have ordered a black Nitrile replacement which I used on my other MPI. It looks the same but doesn't retain water

Hi Keith, firstly I'd like to say they're your videos, so the content, format and music choices are yours and one would assume that people watching do so because of the subject at hand, I love what you do that's why I watch the channel, not to bitch about the music style etc, just seems pathetic to me. Anyway sorry about that. Great update, ok so you lost a bit of time, but respect that you're standards dictated the decision to replace the whole panel, it's worth it hey! 😊

Looking good Corn Beef, your videos are spot on but like you say you can't please everyone. People want to see more details and without some sort of background music it tends to get a bit boring so reinstate the choons I say!
