Thanks Wayne. Yes last time we were at Millendreath was in September 2017 and it was a lot quiter then. Whoo have a great time when you go off in your Caravan next week. We are heading back from Looe today. Just popped into town to have a last coffee and get some pasties to take home. James

Yeh the difference a couple of days made. When we went there in 2017 it was early September and there was only a handful of families on the beach. Cornwall has been incredibly busy this year.

We stay twice a year at Looe caravan park and walk to Millendreath every day with our dog. Its narrow but very safe, killer walk on the way back. The cafe isn't asgard as previous years but the beach bar is friendly and a daytime pint of korev makes the holiday.

Hi Ted, thanks for commenting. Is there a direct path from the site or do you have to follow the main road. I agree the cafe isn't what it used to be. Happy Camping James

@@CaravanEscapades101 we walk down the road. We walk with our very well trained German shepherd and not so well trained 17 year old twins. Been doing it 4 years and never had an issue. Twin boy moaned a bit this year but he did it. We were there in May and July. Lovely site very friendly. Many happy holidays. Joy (my son has claimed my you tube). Hes not called Ted either 😂

That beach doesn’t look too busy to be honest. You should have seen Perranporth beach last Wednesday there was thousands on the beach. Crantock beach near Newquay was also packed. Cornwall this year reminded me of how it used to be in the 70’s. Still love Cornwall though no better place than when the weather is good.

Hi Totally Agree, I guess we are normally used to being in France for the summer holidays were the beaches are a little quieter. I do agree Cornwall is lovely and we did find some lovely coves, The weather does make all the difference though, Thanks for watching James

Went this year cafe was great, lovley breakfast. Wasn't to happy with 67 concrete steps to the apartment. You have to unload your car carry all your gear up the 67 steps then move your car about 1/4 of a mile away to a car park and then walk back. Doesn't help when you are actually 67 the staff laughed when we pointed this out. We arrived the apartment hadn't been cleaned the previous bedding was still thrown in the corner of the rooms. Internet didn't work please avoid like the plague. As I said the cafe was great.

@alanwatkiss7993 Hi Alan, Thanks for commenting. I'm sorry to hear of your experience that didn't sound good. We have always taken our caravan and stopped on the site up the road. At least the cafe is still good. 😁
