He once asked at a concert if there were any guitar players in the Audience he got a reply " Not Anymore " He practices six to nine hours every day

Back in the mid 90`s I was a Zookeeper at Taronga Zoo Sydney. While I was doing my early morning feed run on the Bird Department I heard some beautiful music coming from concert stage overlooking Sydney Harbour. So I went down to have a look , and there was Tommy Emmanual alone with a battery powered amplifier playing guitar, I will never forget it.

Oh he's soooooo great! It's like he gets the guitar to sing..... One of the best I've seen was a live on stage performance of Initiation....where he takes us on a journey through our indigenous sounds of the outback ....hauntingly beautiful....a must see

He and his Brother grew up in Parkes NSW down the road from me. I've been in random pubs all round Australia and seem to bump into Tommy in the most random locations.🤘🇭🇲

the first time i heard this guy play, i put my guitar down for about 6 months. it was him playing 12 bar blues, and he broke my brain! big love to all people :)

he's a bit of a beast isn't he. Many very well know guitarists have cited him as being the best in the world.

Hi guys I've seen Tommy and Phil many times when they were just playing pub gigs here in Melbourne Australia..Apart from Tommy's guitar playing I've known him to be a very Sympathetic and loving Christian man..Cheers from "DOWNUNDER GUYS"🙋❤️

Once upon a time, Tommy was in a band called 'Goldrush' with his brother Phil. Phil played lead guitar and Tommy played... drums.

You haven't heard him play, until you've watched his live performance of 'Initiation'. You won't believe any of it. The only reason I believe it is because I've seen him do it from ten feet away. Truly astonishing.

Tommy had an older brother named Philip, or Phil for short, who played as well if not better than Tommy does, unfortunately the music world lost him in 2018 to a sudden Asthma attack. 😔 If you can find some videos of them playing together, it'll be well worth your time, they were fantastic together 😊 🙃🐨🇦🇺

I think we finish this Tommy journey off with Tommy and Phil playing Sultans of Swing. Had to include Phil. Would be wrong not to do so.

Tommy spends a lot of time touring the world mixing his one man concerts with tutorials for guitar students. There are videos of him post tutorial answering questions from a mixture of classical , jazz or whatever students, some professionals and guitar teachers....... usually lots of laughs and encouragement. lol

it's weird, Tommy can fill the biggest stadium, but he loves doing the intimate venues, so more likely to see him in smaller places, unless performing at a special event
