While in the US, Maxwell Alejandro Frost has just become Congress' first millennial member. New Zealand had Chlöe as MP since 2017. She represents the Green Party, btw. Without their proportional representation system, other political schools of thought, including those that would bring more young voices, would not get a chance. We can see in the UK and Canada, Greens there are only barely a political force. In the US, they, and the Libertarians, are in the fringes. Proportional representation is what gave New Zealand Chlöe, and yes, Jacinda Ardern. Systems like these forces politicians to be good, and thus in countries where they use them, people are more satisfied with democracy.

@jackcameron71934 жыл бұрын
She is terrible and doesn't speak for many New Zealanders at all, she is probably one of the most hated politicians in NZ among younger males. Her intent is great but ideas are terrible and the way she goes about herself and treats older New Zealanders is a joke no respect for this woman whatsoever.

Funny they use the word Boomer ... that was in reply to Todd Muller ... the 2min Noodle opp party leader, who no-one knew and barely remembers ... Note how Chloe acknowledged her Father as her hero ... he grew her up to be strong and valued and much loved ... not all us Boomers are bad. We love our Rangitahi. Well done, Chloe! (y)

shes the next jacinda
@echo77594 жыл бұрын
she doesnt want to be Jacinda ... she said she doesnt even want to be in politics in ten years. Political ambition is not her Drive, she just wants change in areas of importance (not necessarily about power and money) ... the Greens seem to be a wee bit different to the other parties in that regard.

Umm how about we stop comparing individuals to others - - she is Chloe - her own person - not the next.. whoever - Jacinda, Helen, Jenny - of ANY of the other 150 female MPs we have had *before* this election (now 173 - nice)

@bcvbb hyui I’m ashamed to be a baby boomer. Many have an over developed scene of entitlement that have a masochistic, Victorian view of the world. Respect is earned, you don’t automatically get just because you’re old. She is young dynamic and just what we need in NZ politics.
@aduff53064 жыл бұрын
All the way Chloe. You are our future for the right change we need in politics
