She will go a long way if she wants to, it's amazing that 1 genuine person can shift the ol boys in parliament, and great story by the New Yorker, we certainly never saw this on NZ tv, it's a dream but let's hope destructive politics can be replaced by decent people in the right places, with the recent weed referendum here, I knew it wouldn't pass because cops won't have an easy tool to make arrests to drive the police economy and gangs wont have any business anymore so no money for the black economy of which our country towns survive on

Some money - we cannot earn no matter the temptation, there is no such thing as a 'GOOD DRUG', i f legalising it, is so ideal, then why dun ALL THE COUNTRIES do it !!!! Only a lazy, irresponsible uncreative creature will resort to such tactics, the international community is watching how all this will play out if NZ is not careful. NZ has made to many mistakes and legalising it would be a disaster for the future of NZ people, would you board a plane if the pilot is hook on drugs and there is a situation in the air and he is not in the right mind to control and bring people to safety or even a healthcare worker that messed up the tissues samples at the Lab testing for cancer cells. Technically Chloe is my MP at the moment - since I voted in this electorate - I was spoilt for choice - 3 very strong, intelligent, capable women were candidates for this seat - both our main party leaders are females - most minor parties have either a female co-leader (like the Greens) or deupty leader. I'm proud to be a New Zealander - where women were the first country to vote - (1893 - 125 years ago in 2018?) including at least one of my great-great grans

@@TheArchitectThatWas I'm sorry to hear that - though that is progress - having a Green party at all, and having women standing for election - America sadly is not ready for a female president yet again - and they are stuck in the two party dynamics Oh Chloe's victory was narrow - there was literally a margin of hundreds of votes - not only between her - between all 3 female candidates In New Zealand we have two votes - one for our local MP and one for the party - so as long as a party reaches certain threshold, the number of MPs is partly determined by the party vote - which in 2020 means we have 10 Green MPs in total (and in breaking news - two of them have been offered Minister outside Caninet roles - even though Labour could have governed alone)

What do you mean by 'even after Jacinda Ardern'? The sheeple of NZ voted that communist a landslide that gives her the mandate to plunge us into a radical left nightmare of identity politics based on the fact she hugs Muslims and gave Covid-19 speeches where she talked to us like we were stupid children. Hate speech laws currently being expanded so soon freedom of speech will be a thing of the past. @@10AntsTapDancing meanwhile the actual radical left, and plenty of the more moderate left, think she's too right wing :p Never mind that NZ barely Has a radical left (a few low ranking Greens occasionally forgetting that they're not actually a communist party is about it.) Nor the fact that the Right barely ever votes against that sort of nonsense either (hint: much as ACT's big thing is rich people far right (disproven, even!) economics, in every Other respect they're actually very progressive as well.) You know who actually votes against the Problematic aspect of having a progressive/left government? New Zealand First. There are areas of London that are under the control of Muslims, Luton being one, where you are required to obey the Sharia. If you don't you are attacked or bullied until you leave or comply. While in the US, Maxwell Alejandro Frost has just become Congress' first millennial member. New Zealand had Chlöe as MP since 2017. She represents the Green Party, btw. Without their proportional representation system, other political schools of thought, including those that would bring more young voices, would not get a chance. We can see in the UK and Canada, Greens there are only barely a political force. In the US, they, and the Libertarians, are in the fringes. Proportional representation is what gave New Zealand Chlöe, and yes, Jacinda Ardern. Systems like these forces politicians to be good, and thus in countries where they use them, people are more satisfied with democracy.
