Piece of Mind in my opinion is the best album that Iron Maiden ever made followed be A Matter Of Life And Death. As a Maiden fan since 1980 after hearing the first album it makes me so happy to see you enjoying Maiden so much.

I saw Iron Maiden with Judas Priest in 81 on the Point of Entry tour at the Capitol Centre in MD and it was the wildest concert ever. WE had floor seats 12th row center. Judas Priest was into their 3rd or 4th song and they blew the power to the whole building only the emergency lighting came on. That's when the party began but before that after Maiden finished Steve Harris actually came out into the audience looking for something to smoke if you know what I mean. It was wild! Great memories.

I totally love this song i remember back in the day i had just watched the movie "where eagles dare" with Clint Eastwood and the song reflected the movie excellently :) awesome song to this day

Gen X here and I grew up on Iron Maiden's phenomenal music! Amazing musicians who were masters of their instruments. Those bad ass boys didn't use a computer to generate their music. UP THE IRONS!!!!

First song I ever heard from them. And the middle part you locked onto with the guitar stopping and the drums picking up again over and over is the best part. A pure rhythm tune. Always great to see folks discover it anew.

Yes because they can build non repetitive lines and variations around the riff. The new stuff does not. But if you can turn me to new great metal I really am open to listening. Please Reply with some suggestions.
