hey what grade rubber do you recommend? I'm not sure which is the most common or the most popular, small medium or large, thank you!
@brandonchamberlain16737 жыл бұрын
Awesome looking jig! Video was full of great information very helpful! Got a concern, I would think drilling out the eyelet holes would possibly leave behind little nicks and sharp peaces in the eyelet and would possibly cut or damage your line. Thoughts?

can you do a video of the do-it brush jig mold
@MillikenFishing7 жыл бұрын
What would you like in the video Dylan?
@dylanmorgan86207 жыл бұрын
can you tell us like which weed gard we should get (medium or heavy) also if you need different size hooks for pouring different weights of the jig. also what an up close of the bottom and front of the jig looks like after it is poured and powder painted. because I cannot find any images of what the bottom looks like and the images only show the sides of the jig. also, like what you did in this video, when you put on the trailer and showed the jig with the skirt and the craw in the tank. Would be extremely helpful if you could do a video on this!
@MillikenFishing7 жыл бұрын
Sounds good Dylan. Honestly I can probably tell you exactly what you need for a brush jig...I have that mold and use a 4/0 hook for all 3 sizes. My favorite is the Owner Deep Throat jig hook by far. I use a medium weed guard on everything I pour...plenty stiff enough to avoid snags. As for powder-coating, as long as the whole thing is painted, you're good to go. But remember, nothing needs to be perfect. I have jigs I've used until there was no paint on the head from rocks/teeth, and the fish don't seem to mind at all. Pour a jig, paint it decently, put a green pumpkin or black skirt on it, and go throw it around any type of cover. You will get bit.

Milliken Fishing you said you have the mold that fits a 4/0 for all three sizes which mold is that. Is that the one on tackle Warhouse?
@MillikenFishing7 жыл бұрын
Yes looks like it's the "Weedless Brush Jig" mold on TW. 1/4, 3/8 & 1/2 oz

Milliken Fishing I need you to do this for me. I just watched Flairs ice fishing video that you were in and I know you haven't posted it but I know he probably won't see my comment in all the other one's so next time you see him I need you to read him this because it is painful to watch. You can't just run to the tip up and yank the shit out of it. When they grab it through the ice they will not choke it all the way down so you have to let them run and when they stop they will take it deeper. that's why you loose 90% of the fish because you are setting it before they even have it all the way. Also you are setting the hook like its a whale. Your using like a drop shot size hook and what do you do when you are fishing a drop shot? you reel into them not set the hook like your punching a 2oz weight. If you could do it on video that would be super funny.
