Second biggest walleye I’ve ever caught was on a bullhead about that size fishing for flatheads in the Des Moines River 9 pounds 14 oz my Pb walleye outta the Des Moines is 12# 11oz !

I did similar with a 50 gal tank when I was a kid. Made a little bait trap and set it in a creed down the street from the house. Even kept a blue crawfish for a while. I may have to start it up again because I remember it was a lot of fun.

Was just fishing a creek even smaller than this the other day trying for trout and pulled a 20 inch smallmouth out of a tiny, shallow section that was maybe 3 feet wide and maybe a foot deep...cool catching something unexpected like that!
