THIS. This is the most impactful video I have ever viewed on KZbin. Chad Vanags may be diagnosed with stage 4 cancer but he is the healthiest person I have ever encountered on KZbin. He redefines what it means to be healthy, what it means to be wealthy, and what it means to live a life worthy of your every breath. Steve I think we need more videos like this. Chad's words keep ringing in my ears, "we are going to die, maybe in the next hour, maybe tomorrow, maybe fifty years from now.. stop wasting your time chasing money and chase perspective, real connections and purpose. Please keep us updated about Chad.

this is the best interview I have watched lately and I sincerely wish this man to enjoy every minute of his life left,lots of love and thank him for the advice. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and I had come to similar ocnclusions. I quit my job and never wanted to work again until I find something meaningful but nobody could understand that feeling.. FInancial success can be a failure, when you are walking another person's path, or not your own path.

Steve, this was the first one of your podcast I listened to, and I listened to it to enter your contest. I was blown away. I expected to hear about an e-commerce topic that would help me get my business off the ground. I think this is an awesome podcast to listen to for new entrepreneurs to give perspective. Wow, happiness optimization is powerful. I'm going to write about my 80/20. I love to write and I do on Wattpad. When my spouse asks why I do it, because I don't make money, my reply is that it makes me happy. So much I could say as I think about authentic living and my own death. I'm in my 60s and just signed up for your course. Thanks for sharing this, and I hope Chad is peaceful wherever he is, alive, or passed on.

This hit me really hard. I’m a nurse and since the pandemic hit I have been trying to do my best to do something I really love - that’s why I started my channel. I’m also in a point where I’m just really trying to figure out what I really want in life and just like what he said to make sure that I can live something good behind when I’m gone - and i’m thinking of entrepreneurship. That’s how I ended up discovering your channel. Love your channel ❤ This is also my favorite podcast episode ❤️ will continue watching and learning from you!

I sooooooo needed to hear this today. I’m always chasing the next good idea. I’ll put all my effort into something only to realize it’s more work than I thought. The stress from all of that not only affects me but also my family. For example, I had a great idea for a nonprofit earlier this year so I started gathering all the information etc. and then I finally realized this is gonna be a lot of work and I already have a full-time job. I actually had a conversation with my husband last night and asked him what he thought and he agrees that I add way too much to my plate, and I overload myself which only results in stress in the household. Two days ago I asked the universe for a sign, and then I came across this video. Everything you mentioned here is spot on. I’m always trying to put that feather in my cap as well. I don’t know who I’m trying to impress, but sometimes we get going down these rabbit holes and we don’t even know why we’re doing it anymore. Thank you for sharing your story. Please know that you have helped someone today. 😊

Thank you so much for this podcast interview, Steve. Very inspiring. I very much agree with your guest as I'm winning the battle against breast cancer. I refused to let them put chemicals in my body though. If I won't eat chemical laden foods, how does it make sense to be injected with chemo? As with him, I eat organically and no processed foods. I actually gave up processed foods many years ago. I also put my trust in God and I believe he gave us an herb or food to heal every disease. I also agree our food industry is gone to crap. Just walk the isles of a grocery store. It's mostly unhealthy garbage. I also know that a positive mindset is a large component of healing.

This guy is absolutely right . Never false yourself to live in a certain way that it doesn’t feel right. When I’m even in the wrong relationship I feel sick and that’s not good for the immune system. Your heart and mind and spirit has to be in agreement. If not so your heart spirit and mind will be in a conflict that might cause a chemical imbalance. Trinity is God in one. They live as one, in harmony.

Thank Chad/Steve for sharing podcast. As a 30yr old Amazon employee on the edge of ecommerce entrepreneurship lifestyle, it's really great to hear such honest in/hindsight from a veteran. I've always made the mistake of rationalizing happiness is not what I am optimizing for. Deep down, I know that's a mistake.. On another note, even though you said "You're going to die" multiple times, it is still falling emotionally flat for me(stupid me). Would be great if there was a experiential service that help you feel and contemplate death. Lastly, I hope your treatment goes well and I look forward to hearing from you after 6 months!

Love your philosophical video, so true to life, no matter what your age. I plan to share it with my adult kids who are still making decisions in their lives. (The camera software, though, constantly zooming in and zooming out, "for emphasis", is very unnerving and distracting.) I believe your guest will recover, because he's addressing all the right things, and his doctors are not "forbidding" him from eating the healthiest foods, which they have been doing to a member of my own family. But your guest, living in California, very likely let somebody in a white coat assault his immune system with an experimental injection. He did not necessarily do this to himself. From what I've read, since the unproven yet mandated meddling in people's immune systems was launched on the public, cancer rates have skyrocketed. And "nobody is allowed to discuss it" or they get banned from social media. So your guest is finding the best way to spend the rest of his life, no matter how long it is, but he shouldn't necessarily blame himself for what's happened to him..

A great discussion and so many facets to it. Thanks to you both for being so open. None of us know if we have another 20 minutes or 20 years of life. For me, I've found peace by learning about God through the Bible and having a relationship with him. I have a loved one going through severe cancer right now and I have faith that if either of us die in the next 5 minutes that we will spend eternity in heaven with God. Check out a TV series called The Chosen. Lots of great information there. On this earth, our relationships with family, friends and helping others will be what is remembered about us. Thanks for this video.

Hey someone please tell this man about Eden valley health centre. I know someone who went there for treatment for lymphatic cancer 10 years ago. They changed their diet and was treated. Trust in Christ along with use of proper natural remedies and He can be healed. Another friend who was really rich told us his brother had cancer in his heart and did a watermelon fast for 30 days and was healed.... Please tell this man to do a fruit diet for a while with high levels of vitamin c daily, enough water, excercise and sunlight. He can be healed

I hope that he and others who chase "fools gold" would stop and find out who really created them and make their peace with God their creator even if they do not believe. Having a relationship with the Most High God is the most important thing any human being could ever achieve. Everything else is a failure because at the end of our life we will all stand before Him, and give an account of our lives. For those who do not believe in God, at least do yourself a favor and ask Him. Do you really exist? Can you make yourself clear to me, so I can finally know the truth? What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and looses his soul? Mark 8:36. It will be to late to ask after you die because then you will know the whole truth. This life is not about chasing anything. It is about returning back to God, that is our mission. Everything else is failure.
@i8aGREMLIN Жыл бұрын
Agreed. C.S Lewis said something about chasing the truth and chasing happiness. If you chase after the truth, you may find happiness in the end. However if you chase after happiness, in the end you'll not have happiness or the truth. For reference for those who don't know. Jesus is the truth. Why? Because that's what Jesus himself claimed He was. And He proved it by being raised on that Sunday morning. Second point of reference. I have a personal policy. If anyone rises from the dead 3 days later you can be sure that person has my full attention. Especially if that person made many fantastical claims before dying...
