What makes him incredibly smart is his constant reframes to situations that others won't question. I think if we literally start to question our own thoughts and what we believe to be reality with the same or similar context of reframing, we would see some crazy changes as well.

I am glad to listen to this podcast episode because it is informative and I learned two things; that George is middle eastern and that the guest Alex plays the long game in entrepreneurship. :)

The way i see it, if you invest and have other income outside of dividends then you will be able to live off dividends without selling. Which means you can pass that on to your kids which will give them a leg up in life. $52k dividends received in 2022.

That's why it is advisable that you have to invest while you still have a regular job or earning a regular income, and do it constantly. You still need to have something that will keep you going even if you're investing. Good financial planning and money allocation is the key.

Agreed with the reasoning behind the statements he made. You absolutely do need to be motivated with a goal and plans which you are taking action on for what he said to work. No point in getting takeaway if you are not making money when doing that. You do have to measure and compare for motivation and ideas.

Dude! I enjoy watching both you guys separately. These two are pretty funny together. Glad to see George's comedic side bring that out in Alex too. Biggest takeaways for me: Set and view the goals of what you start (he didn't want to just open 1 gym, he wanted over 100 gyms), and that it isn't comparison being the thief of all joy, but the judgement that comes from it. Compare to learn, not to judge.

There are times when I wonder what my life could have been like if I'd taken a different path.
