Hey buddy, I know your home safe now so my comments are all in passed tense awaiting the next instalment, however I've travelled Peru through to Bolivia and the dunes you've seen thus far doesn't even come close to what's ahead. The scenery and landscape coming up is some of the most breathtaking I've ever seen. Still to this day that trip has been one of the highlights of my life. The only place that's come close was BC in Canada, however it didn't compete in regards to the ruggedness and vastness 😉. Maybe coming from Perth WA I was just awestruck at mountains that were higher than anything I'd ever seen before, or maybe it was just the coca leaves.... Either way I've loved reliving that trip through this vlog, so thank you 👍. Oh and one last thing, next time you see sand and a beach, just stop and think, ohh that's a nice beach and keep f@cking riding ok!! **As I step down off my soap box**

To be fair some of the best footage I have seen on these travels have been on beaches, admittedly not necessarily riding his bike at the time. The best for me when he was on a beach in Mexico with his buddy and he took the drone up with the Pelicans.... Amazing video

At first i was having flashbacks to that time in the beach in Australia when you got bogged in and the tide was coming in quick. Gutted you got hurt, all those thousands of miles and then this happens, someone once told me pain was weakness leaving the body, he obviously hadn't had a leg ripped off, i really hope that the injury wasn't bad enough to put an end to the adventure, it'd be soul destroying for you after everything you've been through. 🇬🇧🇦🇺

Have you see the vlog when Danny and Parry went to the moon? Awesome, to see Apollo Marine and Sputnik Parry up there in the dunes. The gravity made the Harleys 13 times lighter but when Bogan rode into that crater I thought he was lost forever. Lost to the milky way, with his drone orbiting Jupiter forever. But Bogan found a way, and he has a way! A giant leap for mankind. Never give up. And to anyone else doing Sober January..good luck. We can do it too!

Danny you really need to evaluate this self destruction impulse. You quit drugs and alcohol, but you'll turn off a safe road with a clear goal that you genuinely want to achieve so you can ride down an impossible to ride on beach at put the whole trip and your own health at risk...... For what? You already have amazing footage, you're already doing something death defying. Why needlessly risk yourself, the bike, and your goals to do something almost guaranteed to fail? Risking and striving to achieve something is great. Doing for no reason, or worse, to satisfy some impulse is just reckless and irresponsible. You knew the instant you went over that sand what a bad idea it was, that's why you got off and walked the beach to rationalize that you could do it. You've for a good message and I enjoy your videos, but perseverance is pushing through the shit that life throws at you. It's coming out on top of life and doing cool stuff, despite the shit you have to climb over to get there. It's NOT being totally safe, secure, and having a ton of resources and then CREATING a massive pile of shit that you can then swim through and pat yourself on the back when you reach the summit for your purposely created pile of shit. Watching you ride through these landscapes and talk about what riding means to you is inspiring and amazing. Watching you struggle to fix the needless, gigantic, dangerous messes you put yourself in for the sake of doing something stupid.... Well that just comes off as a rich dude doing some performative dance to seem like he's struggling.

While I am a fan danny, I hope you one day recognize the fine line between courage and crazy, between knowledge and ignorance. You risk everything for a ride on the beach when knobby tires aren't made for soft sand, furthermore the small grains of sand when sucked onto your drive belt cut and fray the belt and it will, in many cases shorten the life of said belt greatly, not to mention what it does to all the other parts that contact the drive belt. Those of us who've come to truly enjoy your adventures don't want to see you risk everything for some cool shot my friend, me personally would much rather see you safe brother, this isn't meant in any kind of mean way, it's meant to let you know we care mate and want you 2 safely complete the mission rather than have a shot of riding on a south American beach.

Knobbly tyres should have recommended psi on sidewall which will be lower than road tyre's generally. You could probably have used a few less psi when hooning on beach sand. Hope your on the mend. Looked like pretty big high before low. Felt a bit morbid to watch after reading caption on thumbnail. Again hope your ok. You were going against the traffic. Even though you have knobbys on that bike it's heavy and not mention to ride on that soft sand without you busting your ass. I've tried it in deathvalley and ended up with a broken hip. For a road king even with knobbys it's for dirt roads not sandy beaches unless the bike is lighter than that road king. Pray that your ok and you get back on the road on schedule
