Those are the best pants. I even love the name. Not cheap but worth it.

We’re from the same forest ! I own several other similar brands ( Helly Hensen , Snickers , Herrock etc . ) . They are true game changers ! Tool bags are , one size fits nothing , tool and parts spillers !

I have two diamond back toolbelt setups with buckaroo bags. One setup is for my general woodworking and the other is my electrical setup. The belt is super comfortable and great looking and the buckaroo bags hang closest to the body and also very good looking. (All black and no logos baby). I like them because they always have what I need when I'm working on a specific task and I never change them out. I am caught sometimes wearing no toolbelt. I then end up noticing my feet are hurting from all the back and forth walking im doing and misplacing my tape or something. A pair of pants like those might be nice on my lazier days.

I also have used the Duluth Fire hose jeans & when they first came out they were made of a lot heavier material and now they are lighter weight and do not last as long.

i work in logistics so i dont really have that much need for tool pants but yet i wear the bjørnkleder carpenter ace to have a place for scanners and terminals and such in the hanging pockets and i wear my knives lower down on the leg. really good pants

I have been wearing the Duluth firehose pants for 6 years now. But I like the hammer loop and knee pad area on these.

I bought and used Herock jeans that are made like that. They are made in Germany and I order them from Lee Valley Tools but they quit caring them. I also have Duluth jeans but it seams like that they have lesser quality to them than they use to. My Herock have lasted for 5 Years and I loved them but hard to get. I am going to try out a pair of those jeans. Thanks for the review

The knee pads are an ass saver , I was working in a semi mothballed plant with limited lighting , tripped on a threaded stud sticking out of the floor . Long story short , my right knee came down on another stud . Thank God for knee pads , otherwise I’d have been badly hurt !

If they made bib overalls I'd try them. I wear Carhartt bib overalls with their knee pads always in place most of the year. Cargo shorts in the summer here in Wyoming.

I wear the Herock jeans and they are made in Germany . I have one pair that has lasted for at least 5 years. I still use them but they have little spots from battery acid from cleaning battery terminals with a Milwaukee die grinder. Not the fault on the jeans just me not thinking about the battery Corrosion.. You would like these as well for they have a lot of the same pockets & the front pockets that you can tuck into your front pockets. 1 Model has a zipper that you can remove the 2 front pockets. Thanks for your videos. I as well like the Veto Back pack and there other bags as well.

They maybe were in the past. Im German and looked at them cause i was interested. They are definitely not made in Germany for the price around 50€.

What i recently discover are the CQR pants. 10 pockets. Basically cargo pockets with elastic wasit band so you really don't have to wear a belt with them. They make fleece version fpr the winter as well. All for 40 bucks. Stitching were they are most needed. So far they be the best pants i ever worn.
@MillisConstruction3 жыл бұрын
Where are you finding those?
@kelvinromero28903 жыл бұрын
@@MillisConstruction Amazon. Best part they are water resistant and dust proof. And one of the cargo pants have a hole in the on top for easy access to put longer tools. Where I usually put some channel locks into.

Not sure what your trade is, pliers and rachet driver. I'm a carpenter and have a couple swedish pants. I struggle with where to put my tape measure and speed square. My pants might be 1600 series. No reinforced pocket, plus extra pockets hang over them. Any tips?

You know I made a bet with my wife on this one, I was giving her crap that I was going to start wearing a Blaklader kilt in the summer, she’d been wanting me to take an Ancestry DNA test too…. So she said she’d be ok with it if it came back more than 20% Scottish, well it came back, 32% Scottish 😅 so I guess I’m good to go!

I dont do tool bags unless its my small pouch. Maybe 5 tools. I cant do an 8hr shift with it on my hips, man it beats my back up and legs. If i could find a system that was like the atlas 46 on the rough in jobs, I would do it, but I am a big guy and get worried it wont set well

Which tape measure is the best in your opinion
@MillisConstruction3 жыл бұрын
It really depends on what you do as far as some of that can go, for me personally I use a fast cap old standby for the really nice clear numbers and the other features fast cap puts on their tapes. The one on me here is another favorite of mine and it’s the Tajima GS Strong Tape 16’ with the belt release system.
