I'm first nations, I went back to school at 37 years old into a millwright apprenticeship. What a life changing decision I made for my family. I love the career choice, working on different equipment everyday keeps it fresh. I highly recommend anyone to get into the trades. It's never too late!!

How many year did you go for college or semesters? And after finish college you are 1st year apprentice or 2nd year apprentice

I went through an apprenticeship program. It was 7 weeks of school per year. I went to Kwantlen polytech University as a Millwright apprentice. There is a foundation program I would recommend to anyone with little to no experience. It's a 6 month coarse and after that you get credit for your first year.
