Nice video and clarifying how to do the step drill I definitely was overstepping on downswing.

Exellent video on how to start the swing - thank U so very much. The older and more stiff I get in the body- the more difficult I found it how to start the swing fluently.

Glad it was helpful! If I can be of further help, do check out my online academy at milolinesgolf.com where we also have numerous excellent swing exercises to get some flow!

I've been reading George Knudsen's Natural Golf Swing. He emphasizes balance as one of the most important aspects of a good swing. And he teaches that weight shift is the engine of the swing. Passive hands and arms with weight shift and rotation moving the hands and arms. Thanks for sharing!

I remember thinking wow thats it, when i first watched knudson on video! But when great ball strikers claim they have passive arms its wrongly interpreted by most golfers

Pressure shift vs weight shift.
@grahamjones73712 жыл бұрын
Yes balance is key, but its dynamic balance not static,or pressure shift as Milo would say.Dynamic balance is a result of Athletic Anticipation which is the "secret" of all sport.Its just harder in golf because you and the ball are stationary and its on the ground,which kills natural movement.

I think the key to this video ,is that this is how you start the swing, ie overcoming inertia of a stationary heavy club and then changing direction overcoming the forces of a moving club.Unfortunately most golfers (unlike 99% of all tour players) learn as adults and have the strength to whip the clubhead away with the arms and then think they should try and turn, which is why they go inside and over.You can lessen this by focussing on the handle not the clubhead, but Milos pressure shift is the best.

Milo, you need to make a one minute video and put it at the end of your next video or videos, where your student has finished watching one of your videos and you're teaching him to press the "THUMBS UP" button and explaining how to share the video with friends, how to subscribe and why. I don't think it has been done before, it could be really clever. I only say this because of 74K views versus 38.6K SUBS and 890 !!!!! "THUMBS UP" likes. Not a good stat. You deserve more.

Hi guys, hey ED, I keep hitting it on the toe, especially doing waist high to waist high in a slow easy fashion and yes, slow and easy swing.
@MiloLinesGolf2 жыл бұрын
There are a few things that can cause toe strikes. To give you a proper diagnosis I’d need to see your swing.

Great knowledge here. What are your thoughts on Henrik Stenson's trigger move compared to Adam Scott who doesn't seem to have any trigger movement. In your opinion which would be more efficient and easier to implement? And do you think it's better to not ground the club right before take away? Thx for your channel!
@edlasatergolf2 жыл бұрын
I’ve never seen either players swings on Swing Catalyst but although it’s very obvious Stenson shifts pressure to start his swing, I’m willing to bet so does Adam.
