Miltonia orchid care

This week Plant Lovers, three of my Miltonia's are in bloom so it seems like a good opportunity to make an updated care video for them! They certainly love Melbourne's climate and in my experience are a very easy type of orchid to grow.
The three types I look at in this video are:
Miltonia Goodale Moir 'Golden Wonder'
Miltonia Guanabara
Miltonia spectabilis var. moreliana

Well I'm in the same boat,I have a cymbidium tracyanum in bloom and 2 in spike and I'm on the lower slopes of kunanyi Mount Wellington Tasmania,go figure,thanks for the great content you're orchid adventures have been a great help in mine❤

Hey Matthew, I also have this orchid book. You recently bought a more up to date book by the same author. Has a few more orchids in it and now list flowering season also. Same pictures mostly but smaller. I now also have both these books. Exotic orchids, and starting out with orchids

Mid winter! There aren't any orchid specialist nurseries, but perhaps the best is Collectors Corner which does have a lot. Otherwise I like Fitzroy Nursery and Poyntons - neither have a huge amount of orchids but they will have some. Enjoy Melbourne!

Thank you very much for another informative presentation Matthew. I really enjoy learning about the origins of the orchids. It was also particularly helpful to learn about the ideal colour of the orchid stems for Miltonia so I will go out shortly and move a Miltonia to another spot that has brighter light. I really admire the colours of the flowers on the Miltonia Goodale Moir. Searched for a grower on line in Australia to no avail. If possible, are you able to let us know where you sourced it please?
