One reason the sockets were difficult to remove from the impact hog ring is that you were using standard sockets and not impact sockets. It's worth noting the high shock torque of these newer Lithium impact wrenches is even more prone to shattering non-impact sockets - shearing off the bolt head is minor annoyance but an exploding socket is a bigger problem... especially without eye-pro.

I work in San Francisco building concrete high risers as a Concrete Carpenter. And let me tell you. THIS KIT WILL DO! We abuse and torture our tools pass them on to the next guy, he beats on it, then on to the next guy and son on. We are a productive crew. When they tell you on the 31st floor deck to go down to the ramp and deck i; do form work/ledger/edge form/cut rebar for shut offs etc etc..... A cordless drill/impact/saw/hammer drill/grinder is better to tote than 2 50ft cords and a skill saw/corded tools. I think this kit would be more than enough for a DIY type of guy........ The Milwaukee FUEL line of tools is PROFESSIONAL grade it's been PROVEN at the jobsite not at some Joe's garage who is doing a review on tools that look brand new! Smh

Not sure where you’re getting the tools individually for less than the bundle. Just priced it out based off that statement and came up with $1570 without batteries or cases. Seems a lot of people are looking at the standard M18 brushed motor tools. The fuel series are always more.

Good review...your numbers are slightly off. The circular saw is $150 and the driver/drill combo cost you quote is gen2 not gen3. Gen3 kit is $380 and just came out. The gen3 driver is $129 and not available cheaper bare tool. It is definitely more powerful than the Makita since its newer. If you add it up you do save some money. Would agree flashlight is weak. They do have the deal with the high torque impact driver which is $219 vs the mid torque at $189 which you got that saves even more. Personally the mid torque is plenty powerful.

They make impacts with pin detents too (see Milwaukee 2860-20). Use of impact sockets will make it easier to remove them too...

Depending on where you buy It, it can be worth it. On ToolUp, I found the kit for $999 but it had the blades for the Circular Saw, reciprocating, and angle grinder. It also had the 2 batteries and 2 bit sets. On top of this, you had your choice of 3 items for free. A higher torque impact wrench, tower light, or 2 more batteries. If you buy it from them it'll definitely be more worth it.

Milwaukee is by far the BEST cordless tool maker on the Market , Next would be a tie between Bosch , Makita If you want the Best get Milwaukee M18 Fuel line with the M18 HO Battery either 9 amp or 12 amp. I have 44 years of experience with tools. Also am NOT paid like some You Tube testers are. Just know and use good tools.

Really great video and great observations. Imagine if milwaukee made those changes you recommended. Disengaging of the jigsaw blade, the recipricating blade, the impact wrench bit and the better light and you would of given it 5/5

You can get the smaller thinner batteries from Milwaukee. And they appear to be about the same in size as your other products you are showing.
