Most Irish Festivals are amalgams of Ireland, England, and Scotland. They only call it "Irish" so people know that binge drinking is not only acceptable; it's encouraged.

@@bobschram7416 Its not the worst festival in that regard by all accounts.It has irish sports which the irish love like hurling and currach racing though not as popular is very strong in coastal communities on the west coast of ireland.
