Thanks for the method to reload, I was using simultaneous trigger pulling and using the auto retract to back out plunger to add new tube. I have been caulking for 30 years (as our housing seems to be assembled together by caulk) and I can't believe how much this would have saved my forearms as I just bought it😊.

Tile setter here. I run the best beads in the West! 😉 Im hoping that the first setting is slow enough for my needs, it looks like it will do nicely. Pro Tip: instead of cutting your nozzle at an angle and dragging the caulk along (like in the video), cut the nozzle square (perpendicular to the tube) and push the caulking. It will enter the joint insread of sitting on top. The square cut nozzle also makes the perfect scalloped profile when held at an angle as you push the caulking gun along your joint. Yer Welcome🍻

It's pretty slow. Should work good for ya. I don't really do much. That's why it's not that good of a bead. Lol

hi great review - very useful. What is the width of the gun please ie if laid on its side what is the height of the shoulders. I'm toying with getting one but want to know if it will fit in a Milwaukee Packout Compact case. Cheers

If you're talking about the smaller cases. (48-22-8436) then it will not fit.

I have..bought it new yesterday and used concrete sealant for 4 tubes today. Worked good but i think it would work better if warmer weather. Im in new orleans and was in mid 50’s all day. It worked ok but i feel would work better in warmer months for that thick cement type epoxy. I did use one tube of regular clear caulk today also and it flowed awesome because its not as thick as cement epoxy. Also mine is making a hi pitched tone when i pull the trigger..i asked the video channel guy if his does it too and he said his doesnt so i will swap it out for another one tomorrow. I got the m12 version for $159. Also before this one i bought the Ryobi brand but returned it because it kept jamming up on me so on return i upgraded to this milwaukee one…the milwaukee is much better imo.

It really is. Hopeless if you're using it for caulking, so slow to restart. Quicker and easier to use a regular gun. I returned mine as 'not fit for purpose.'
@histguy101
@histguy101 Жыл бұрын
Well, that depends, doesn't it? If you're caulking Indoor trim, then ya. It's useless, but if you're caulking exterior cedar siding with Quad, or using certain adhesives, something like this might make it a hell of a lot easier.

Very useful for solar panels on a flat roof since the mounts require almost half a tube of caulk on the bottom per mount
