I think I’ve had a string of bad luck with their batteries or something. I’ve ended up with a bunch of them over time and I find they die super fast in cold weather. My biggest issue with them though is whenever they completely die it can take up to days for them to start taking a charge again. I also hater the inline saw when I bought it, the ergonomics just didn’t do it for me. This is just my opinion but if you ever get a chance to try the 7 1/4 Metabo rear handle, it’s the best I have used by far. I’ve owned them all, quite literally, and for my money that’s the winner. Take care fellow tool enthusiast,

Seems promising. I have a love-hate relationship with my current gen2 saw. My biggest problems are it won't clear a speed square at max depth (is that fixed?), the depth lock nut never seems tight enough, and the switch is incredibly prone to dust interference, requiring me to soak in contact spray on occasion or it's dead. Drives me nuts.

M18 Surge Impact electronics failed & has no torque replacement part is almost same as new saw. DAB radio died after less than 1 month. Combi Drill repaired under warranty. I've been running Milwaukie since they came out with their m18 platform. They're junk. I've been through 5 circular saws, a few sawzalls, 3 or 4 impacts, a few drills, a couple jigsaws and many batteries. The tools don't last, they are expensive, the batteries are expensive and dont last. $250 for a battery big enough to run my circular saw.is stupid, especially when I need two batteries to get through the day. Ive gone back to the cord for my saws and bigger tools. I will keep running cordless for my drill and impact. Im tired of overpriced, junk tools.
