As a 4 yr user of packout, it works well as a system. For single use tools or static storage in a shop,they are over priced. As a professional user of tools, I have no room to waste on a Milwaukee screwdriver or level. There are multiple better brands who only make certain tools ...luke Stabila and Knipex. Cheap tools never last,nor are they consistently made long term. I am to old to want a Dewalt hammer or Milwaukee screwdriver. Nice review!

Nice review. Wow I can’t get over that $219 price tag though.

I wanted my first veto bag for years before I got over the price. There are definitely nice bags that are less expensive but I can say they I don’t regret the purchase and for me the it’s a sign of a good product.

I strapped a Fluke C116 to the front to hold my meters and it works awesome it hovers just above the floor Maybe it could be a little less tall some smaller tools seem to get lost in the tool pockets and inbetween the pockets

Nice creative solution. I can see what you are saying about the height. I guess I would rather have that problem than it being too small.

Found my way here from a shoutout from Rob and Sarah on The Tool Show. Great video. Was wondering about this bag. My one complaint about some of their previous bags (10” in particular) was that the pockets flattened out too much at the bottom, making it difficult for items to sit in low enough to fit securely. Any issues with pocket sizing?
@TinkerWithTools5 ай бұрын
I find that on each side of the bag there is a row of taller pockets that will accommodate an 11” screwdriver to the point where the handle is in the top a little bit. In front of that there are pockets with less depth that still hold things decently well. Anything tall than that (like the 12” stabila level) I put in the center pocket.

With the strap being able to be put over the handle it keeps it out of the way when clipping the tote on to the packout stack

I’m going to give you a light suggestion… 550 Lumens LED REDLITHIUM USB Stick Light with Magnet (Model # 2128-21). It’s the Red Lithium rechargeable (usb-c) and it’s totally incredible. Magnet is next level and the mounting and lighting options are phenomenal. You really won’t be sorry. It’s $99, but if you have a Northern Tool near by and get their coupons you can throw in an one dollar bs item (spark plug gap tool or something from their random area) and get $20 off. I have about 14 different Milwaukee lights and this is my favorite. Love your channel and have enjoyed every video you’ve put out. Keep up the great work.😊❤ Plus it should fit in one of you end battery pockets if you want to store it there.

Great review. I will second the light recommendation. I have the -22 which includes the versatile magnetic charging base. I reach for this more than my M12 Rover light.

Hey Thanks for the review. Appreciate the time you took to talk about it. I have the same bag. Love it. Question though. On the outside of the bag, the way you have if facing the camera, there are what can be described as black loops, sort of like a bandolier, what have you used that for?
@TinkerWithTools6 ай бұрын
I currently use them for holding a role of tape that doesn’t work with the tape hook. On another bag I have I do the same thing.

Thats the price of a nice tool! Way my brain works, i would just buy another tool. But i guess a professional would have all his tools. He wouldnt mind spending his tool money on a tote. I love my Harbor Freight 15"! 😂 Maybe when i got a collection worth protecting, ill get a good tote/bags!😂 Although it would be nice to "Grow into".😂
@TinkerWithToolsАй бұрын
I get that not everyone values a bag at that level. The bag is price competitive with other premium bags in the market though.

I have used the toughbuilt before. I wanted a smaller bag when I started looking and the medium bag wasn’t all that available at the time. Ended up with the veto and then this.

I have the 15in pack out tool bag and my gripe is Milwaukee skimped on the pockets. There's just one pocket on the ends, but none on the sides and none, not one pocket on the inside. These mofos gotta do better.
@TinkerWithTools6 ай бұрын
I am guessing that was the previous generation of totes if you will. This bag though not 15” has quite a few pockets.
@jaywalker29116 ай бұрын
@@TinkerWithTools Not the tote. It's the packout tool bag, with the zippered top.
@TinkerWithTools6 ай бұрын
Okay I think I found the one you are talking about. The newer, yet more expensive bags, do have pretty good interior pocket storage to create a place for each of the tools.
