@vcgconstruction, A suggestion for Milwaukee, with these new tool storage containers, I would suggest you offer an introductory lower cost offer of a kit containing one of all the boxes (1 per customer) for sale so they can try it and if it works the customer is hooked.

I found the clear rectangular ones in Tampa, FL during Black Friday weekend so I picked up two and removed all the bit rows, not knowing they were compatible with the belt clip holes. Tried it today, works beautifully. I work with graphics, so now I have a clear display of which box has blades and which one has squeegees.

I couldn't remove the bits from the old cases. It was so frustrating that I took them all out, put them in an old pencil box and tossed the case in the trash. Obviously, whomever made those original cases NEVER used a drill bit. I'm glad they fixed this problem. Fyi, the Ryobi bit sets are very inexpensive and pretty good.

I just bought the Ryobi drill kit with the hex drive. The first time I used one on wood it came loose from the driver. I returned it to Home Depot and they said they are getting them back a lot.

@EL ROBO Wow! Last Christmas I bought 2 of the $19.99 double-sided kits from Home Depot on an instinct purchase (they were in front of the self checkout lol). It was too good a deal to pass up. I guess I've been lucky. I do a lot of woodworking and maintenance and have had no issues so far. Go figure?

So I bought the 10 piece big hawg hole saw kit. I know theres a 9 piece that comes in a packout organozer, but does anyone know of somewhere I can get that foam insert so I can make my own for the kit I bought?

I never cut my hands removing or pushing in bits with or without gloves though I am mindful of sharp objects and move hands accordingly. The revision I'm hoping will allow you to put in bits faster. Sometimes I've had to put the smaller bits down in the larger holders which was a little harder. What he was saying in the video at the end was to add a kick stand on the box.

Yeah it is extremely hard to remove the bits from the ones I have I have actually resorted to pulling them out with pliers there were just jammed in the bit holders.

@vcgconstruction… this was great! I am new to power tools in general and Milwaukee. I have recently bought the previous style and cannot find this new style case anywhere. I’ve checked Home Depot, Ace Hardware, etc and they all just have the old style. Any suggestion on where to find the new cases? I have the bits already so really just need the cases. Thank. I just bought a 60 pc Milwaukee bit set and I cannot get any of the bits out without prying them out with another tool. I consider my hands to be pretty damn strong, but this design is absolutely abysmal and I plan to return it and pre-order a new set.

Milwaukee needs to sell the pre-labeled drill bit holder rows too. Right now the only way to get labeled drill bit holders is to buy a set of the Milwuakee drill bits which unfortunately, are down right terrible quality. The shockwave titanium drill bits are terrible, but if you want to have labeled drill bit holders, you have to buy the whole set of bits just to get the drill bit holders. If Milwaukee sold the drill bit holders separately, I wouldn't need to buy any of their crappy drill bits and can fill them with my favorite brand bits instead.

Why did they charge the case? Easy, to avoid lawsuits! The new ones have a continuous hinge, the old ones have a gap that if you put your finger in the gap and slam it closed you just cut the tip of your finger off.
