I love mine. I use it for woodworking tools. It is easy to stay organized. I use them in the shop and have a rental house that I need all my tools when I do repairs.

Nice video I wish they have something like that for mechanical tools organizing trays for socket and wrenches but after all it’s the best box in the market

Nothing beats Packout. Milwaukee really nailed it. I don't see any competitor competing in this sector and the same goes for battery lighting. I know other companies that have a tool box system but Packout is just next level

I love mine. I use mine to hold all my Diagnostic Equipment that I use on Trucks and Buses. I have my scanners, scopes and some hand tools in there, Plus all my laptops. I have been impressed with the Durability. I am pretty hard on Tools and this system can stand up to the abuse. I'll do a video of mine soon and share it with everyone.

I have so much Packout I love it. I have 3 sets of the standard 3-box combo alone. Great organization. So far, best of all the top tool companies. We shall see if the tough system 2.0 lives up to the hype (I hope it does) as I have those as well. Packout rocks man !

@WorkshopAddict4 жыл бұрын
We take our gear around shows with the rolling packout and love it. At SEMA it is a pain in the butt because of the amount of people. Overall I would recommend it. I wish there were some larger cases for our mixing board.

I use the Ridgid system and am happy with it. I would LOVE the packout and have tried to justify buying it so many times. It is just too expensive. 279 compared to 99 for the rigid system. Packout is overall better but dollar for dollar I’ll stick with Ridgid. If Milwaukee was smart they would cut the price of the starter 3 box set in half to get more people to commit. All the ancillary boxes, cases and bags are SO expensive they would make their money on that. They would get mine.

Are they waterproof? Or weather resistant? I have a box of similar nature which is waterproof but is very delicate you might say. Thanks

IP65 rated. So water tight or waterproof.

Its the organization that I like i started with the smaller organizationizers for screws and just add as you need some of the boxes are too heavy for me once filled with tools but this compact one will be my first and I'm looking to pick up the rolling one when I find on sale
@batvette3 жыл бұрын
It seems a little high. Buying this compact box cuz its the exact size I need for a 4 cell lifepo 12v battery pack. IMO the ridgid and dewalt setups they sell are better values for tool storage.

I managed to fit the m18 sds plus with front attachment vac in the second largest packout (the one with the swing arm handle). Fits just snug in there.

For $73.50, it sustained too much damage to be a good value. And the rolling one is over $116.00. Pelican cases are ten times better, for a comparable price.

The Milwaukee Packout system is the best on the market. However, they are ridiculously expensive. I use the Rigid ones, I wait for them to go on sale and buy 4-6 every year. The one thing I don't like about these systems is the bottom box with the wheels. I prefer the way the old DeWalt boxes did it where you had a separate hand truck/ dolly and you can attach any size box you want to it. I've had a couple of trips where I did not have anything to put in the big box but I needed it because it has the wheels. This makes the system top-heavy and of course bulky when you are hauling a large tote that you don't need.
