Wow, the new line up of automotive tools coming out is amazing. Retired military mechanic with 21 years of experience in diesel maintenance on heavy equipment. The cordless impact guns, the ratchets, die grinder, and the hand tools with sockets design with anti-roll technology built into them is amazing. I am particularly excited about the ratchets with the extended necks and the die grinder. To have one with no air hose or the need of an air compressor just opens up the versatility of utilization tremendously. A lot of times because of those pesky air lines you were force to remove an entire housing to conduct repairs, but now with this cordless die grinder the possibilities and flexibility to conduct repairs on sight has just been multiplied. I kind of wish the home depot's would carry in store the mechanics hand tools, so that you can see them and get your hands on them. For sure the stubby cordless impacts in 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 will be put on my to get list as well as the die grinder. Thank you for an amazing video and to allow us to be with you through this video at the Milwaukee TSP. Very Respectfully, Carlos.

Question about the Milwaukee torque wrench. Does it have an angle mode on it like my matco torque wrench? I deal with head bolts that require being torqued to spec (say 55 ft/lbs) then go back and add 90° to each bolt. My matco has this function built in so i dont have to get out an angle finder or mark the bolt and check it. Just set it to angle mode, set my spec, and start turning and it beeps when i hit the spec. Not trying to flex matco, but would be nice if the milwaukee has this as well.

Super excited for all of the new tools coming out. I have only one gripe though. I really wish they’d develop an m12 ratchet with the pass through style sockets. The gearwrench pass through sockets are the same as the craftsman ones, and like others as well. So pass through sockets have become a standard in their own right. As of now, craftsman has made the c3 max axess cordless pass through ratchet, but this was years ago. One of the main tool companies are going to eventually bring this idea back from the dead and reintroduce it to the market with updated brushless and battery technology, and I’d really be bummed if dewalt or makita did it. Someone who knows anyone at Milwaukee, please pass this up the chain?!
