Your living room makeover looks super cozy. I bet you won't miss the black rug one bit! ❤ I saw below that you thought the chicken was blah. I thought the wine would have made it flavorful. I need to send you a recipe for tuna noodle casserole with wine in. It makes an inexpensive dish taste fancy. And it is delicious!❤

Jennifer, you tripled the meat for meatballs but you didn't triple the rest of the ingredients. With more veggies you could of had an enormous pot. When I make my 12 qt pot of soup for the whole family sometime I put the whole box, 1 lb, of orzo into the soup for hearty meal., it soaks up a lot of liquid. I'll cook the orzo separately if I want a "soupier" soup and use the leftover the next day. I too use most recipes, not baking, for inspiration, deleting or adding what my family likes.Did you like the chicken? Both dishes looked delicious.

Thank you for sharing Gwen's recipe, anything using up bread crumbs is great! I never let heels or stale rolls go to waste. I've got a portioner scoop that is so teeny I never use it, but it will be perfect for this recipe. To get Hubby to eat this I'll have to puree those white beans to hide them...he isn't a fan. Aww, the addition of ketchup makes me think of my late mom who felt if your dish wasn't 'quite right' you should add a squirt of ketchup and that would fix it up just right! 🥲 No...a half pint is your 8 oz jar...a 4 oz jar is those super tiny canning jars. December '23 I bought some mini ring pasta in both regular and gluten free to recreate good old spaghettio's. A silly purchase, but something very fun for a meal or two and also some safe treats for my grandchildren. Have to tell Hubby your family doesn't like thyme. Him either! If a recipe is titled 'Tuscan' meaning full of thyme and rosemary I know not to bother trying it, haha. Gosh, being an online retailer sounds very confusing. So glad that I have both of your cookbooks already. Aw, I always love seeing your family plating their servings. It reminds me of the days long past with my own kids and how sweet those family dinner times were. Thank you for sharing bits of your family meals Jennifer.

Acini di pepe is similar to pastina a very chopped up spaghetti, easiest way to describe it, orzo was a good choice, watch that stuff it really grows. I would cut that cookie recipe in half to try it, cream of tarter combined with baking soda gives a fast reaction while baking, the cookie would spread more and form air pockets, I have a couple of cookie recipes that call for it, add more vanilla 1 tsp. seems to little wonder if they meant a tablespoon. How did you like the mushrooms?

A little useless FYI here: Acini di pepe - an extremely small, round pasta shape - translates to peppercorn, or seeds of pepper. It comes from the Latin word acinus, meaning grape stones. Though this tiny pasta translates to peppercorns, it is in fact much smaller than this. Acini di pepe are actually the size of a grain of couscous! What is another name for acini di pepe? Acini di pepe - Wikipedia pastina Acini di pepe then translates into "seeds of a pepper". They were and are known as a symbol of fertility, which is why they are used in Italian wedding soup. They are also sometimes referred to as pastina (Italian for "tiny dough"); however, some pasta makers distinguish pastina as smaller than acini di pepe.
