IF he does join, it would be a very interesting juxtaposition. Personally, my first thought on the order and eda, was that it was the antithesis of the trailblaze, with it being the representation of humanity's desire to be free and create your own path. Sunday going to a self discovering journey and choosing to trailblaze, so long as its written properly, could become an incredibly compelling story of truly understanding you were mistaken in the way you thought for the better of everyone. Looking at you mihoyo, dont fuck it up.

It is named "Death of the Crow" and describes the complete plot of Penacony and Sunday in particular, including his 'finale' in 2.2 before it even happens, stating that Sunday's and sender's paths will cross in the end. The text uses the word "Nevermore" (which is the name of Firefly's boss theme btw) multiple times and is written by Cecil Simmes. When translated to chinese, the name becomes a wordplay and can be read as Sissel, who's a protagonist in Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective and travels back in time to investigate own death, in the end uncovering that he was a black cat before he died. Also if I remember correctly, Sissel tries to steer the flow in time in a direction of the best possible outcome. Elio is portrayed as black cat, travels back in time as the pathstrider of Finality, and tries to steer the destiny of universe towards the best possible outcome.

I would say he's *temporarily* joining the Trailblaze. The Penacony arc emphasized that not all who trod the path stay on it but in fact leave it for various reasons. I could see him joining the crew of the Express, only for him to get wrapped up in the events coming in 3.0. After all, they hint at a new king and Sunday has a crown (halo), plus the desire to still help people... or perhaps he'll be at least tempted by all of that and decide to stay with the Express?

To be honest, I'm kinda scared for 2.7 because of the whole Sunday Redemption Arc thing. The last time we saw Sunday, he was angrily conversing with Jade and refusing to join her. Back then, it seemed that even though he had been defeated, he was still stubbornly sticking to his path. But this image of him seems much softer, much more open and adaptable rather than the rigid individual he was before, which is a major turnaround. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but Sunday's change in personality needs to be justified properly in 2.7, and I'm a bit worried that they won't give the proper amount of time to do so since we also have Tingyun's resurrection and preparation for Amphoreus. I'm just a bit worried that only 1 version update won't be enough to cover everything properly. The most similar example to Sunday so far in HSR I can think of is Yanqing's redemption arc in 2.4-2.5, but his personality change was not as big as Sunday's as the only thing really holding him back was his attitude and maturity. Even so, we got 2 patches worth of seeing that growth culminating into his final fight against Hoolay, along with the other character stories. Sunday's change, however, is more complex, and yet we only get 1 patch to see it all unfold, alongside the other situations in Penacony. I really want them to do Sunday's character justice, and we'll see if 1 patch is enough for them to do so.
