As someone who supports not only women’s rights but women’s wrongs, I absolutelyyyyyyy agree about the boundary violations that were totally brushed aside in Roomies so thank you for verbalizing my feelings about why that book never was very enjoyable to me sooo well

I couldn’t agree with you more about Book Lovers. Very lackluster reading experience for me. I couldn’t stand Libby. lol Love your vibes and content!

I agree with not caring that much about Libby in Book Lovers. I feel like it was too focused on that, but I love Emily Henry's books.

yeah libby was my least favourite part of the book

I went into Saint expecting some smutty trash,, but my jaw literally hit the floor multiple times because of how good it was on every level!! One of the most powerful, deep, tragic, and beautifully written books I've read all year!

I've just started really digging into T. Kingfisher after reading and loving Nettle and Bone. I'm reading The Hollow Places now and loving it. The characters are lovable and snarky and things get sooo creepy I love it

Definitely going to give the hollow places a try next!

Thank you for the review for the Ali Hazelwood's newest book cuz Im skippingggggg. I got tired of the way she writes the thought processes of the women with their weird obsessions and the men having all the same personality and physical traits. No other book she will release will make me pick it up cuz I got tired after 1 novel (which I loved) and 3 novellas having the same main characters (reason i got tired of her writing).

I keep getting ads on youtube for Boyfriends and have been meaning to check it out. now that you've talked about it, I have no choice BUT to check it out. 💕

Every time I see Priest in the store, I pick it up, read a bit, and put it back down. Every time! The premises sounds so interesting, but the writing always feels weird. You definitely interested me in Saint though and hopefully since it's the 3rd book in this series, the writing will have found its footing for me. Thanks!

Love Hypothesis is not for me and possibly super medium but I won't die on that hill, because I still have it on my shelf, on the chance that I pick it up one day and discover it's a different book than when I first read it.

I liked Priest but I agree with you about Poppy(BTW silly name). I loved Sinner and Saint. Sinner is my favorite.

*THANK YOU* for what you said about men being allowed to have boundaries in books. Not gonna lie, that element of the book sounds *so* creepy and I probably would have DNFed after that. Women can be creepy towards men and men deserve to set boundaries and feel uncomfortable when their boundaries have been broken. It's just not often that I hear people talk about this in regards to romance books, so it was a breath of fresh air to hear you discuss it with the seriousness it deserves.

It’s interesting because I feel like People We Meet On Vacation, that people (not me) seemed to love, is ALL miscommunication troupe 🧐

Wow, you may have actually sold me on Saint. I read Priest and while I liked Sierra Simone's exploration of faith the romance was so poorly realized. Honestly, I'd be interested to see what Simone would do with a non-romance book because she seems to have really insightful things to say thematically.

I lowkey DNFed Book Lovers, though I may go back to it later, because the first chapter made me think the younger sister was hiding that she was dying so I had to skip ahead to find out if she was because I was not here for that. And then of course after skipping ahead I was kind of over reading it lol
