I read Cemetery Boys when it came out. Really enjoyed it, lovely to see this type of representation and the romance was cute, even if a bit too fast for my taste. But I also remember just being like, I wish this book gave us more on Julian's friends (I really hope they're ok, you know?).

xiran jay zhao is pronounced "shee-ron jay jow (like 'jowl')" and wu zetian is pronounced "ooh (like 'oooh la la') zuh-tee-en" 😊 i felt similarly about the book but i didn't rate it that low LOL like it wasn't bad for me, but it left a lot to be desired.

Yes!! Cemetery Boys quickly became my favorite book I have read in a WHILE. It is so wholesome and sweet and just a balm for my soul!! I also loved the main characters, too! Yadriel and Julian and Martiza.

I just finished cemetery boys today and I have it a 2.75 😭. It was a solid 3 for me, then I was writing my review on StoryGraph and I just had more and more bad things that stuck out to me. I really wanted to enjoy it. I’ll sum up my points if anyone wants to know why it was rated so low.
