So you can see all the build videos of this Engine on my channel. everything was CNC machined and explained through whole build process. These kits are fun but come at a price! This for sure a pay to play item and will require you to fix parts and maintain it better then you would a china doll. This not a Engine you put on a cheap bike! So be safe use common sense with your builds!

Just ticked over 800 miles with my Minarelli build, still on the original pinion and bevel gears! Gears look good. Little bit of visible wear, but no visible metal shavings or anything like that. I might just be lucky, but honestly, as far as issues with the actual motor, the Minarelli has been nicer to me than the triple 40 I used to run

Hey what's up my dude I keep roasting clutches and I don't have the money right now because I'm out of work because I can't even afford to replace it again. Help a brother out and send me one of those clutches you would be a life saver cuz then I can start door dash again so it will be awesome I'm tired of looking at it knowing I can't replace it and when I do it's going to smoke it again but like I said I don't have the money to buy another one. And I would like to make one myself cuz I don't even have a drill it broke a year ago so just a bunch of regular tools. This explains why you did the turbo and making custom casting for this motor or one similar. I understand better now, i was planning on carving my own path in a different direction but same goal on mind. Make this tiny engine do more than others can Successfully. You actually know what youre talking about because you've lived those words and i respect the truth you share. I was looking into this motor but im truthfully not in a position to make this engine work well for me. Do you have any motor recommendations for longevity? Im trying to find the real dirt/pit bike / atv parts that can make this china bottom end last. I know the gears are weak, bearings aren't long term at high rmp thanks to the 2 stroke nature but have you any aftermarket parts that work well or have you just made all your own?

To be honest buy a (Avenger 85). It has everything a high end build can do and it is built like a tank. 50mph out of the box. 200$. + Shipping. All the fun you could ever ask for in one nice neat package without any custom mods! I myself buying one even currently. I have taken 3 of them friends bought for rides now. Absolutely fun in a box. I just like building weird s*** for fun people say you can't 😆

I'm working on getting the parts, then I want to get the stuff to build my own frame. If it's worth doing, then it's worth over building. It's pretty bad that I am going with a bigger engine to use as a daily and that only as a race option.

Built many of them now lol actually 322 of them 😉👍 going to tell you this now. If your using cast iron jug don't wot it. You will regret it. Cold seizure is huge issue on those, piston expands faster then the top end. If you want a reliable one. Spend the 100$ more and get an aluminum top end. You will no regret the extra cash spent. No cold seizure issues at all. Just most don't explain it and people get ass hurt when there new minarelli turns to dust using cheap topend. This why you never see high speed videos oh minarellis more then few seconds 30 to be exact 🤣👍

Hello, I did 10mm spacer for my minarelli and put 2x 0.5mm gasket. I have 40mm stroke but my squish is about 2mm? Should I deck the cylinder or spacer?

You have a 38mm stroke crank is why it's so off. Spacer is 8mm for those. 10mm spacer is for 40mm stroke cranks! Deck the spacer! .7mm to .9mm squish and they run great

​@@BuildBreakFix Yeah.. I bet that they put ZL40MM rod for 40mm stroke... so the crank pin isn't for 40mm stroke. Thanks for clarifying. Now with "38mm" stroke the transfer ports and exaust are fully opened if I deck the spacer 2mm they will not fully open at BDC, I didn't check the timings jet but I thought the piston shouldn't be upper than transfer ports and exhaust port when BDC. I mean the piston edge should be on the same height of those ports "bottom edges" for perfectly opened ports.

eBay has some drop loop steel frames A downhill mtb would struggle with a 3-8 horse motor. Lmao that does not have the power output of a 4 stroke idc if it has 11 hp peak somewhere

I don't understand... I have a 4 stroke big bore build with all go power sports hop up parts. But if your implying it can beat a 2 stroke like this saw build lolz. Then you need to watch SoCal races in ca. Cause in 8 years only 1 4stroke placed in top 3 at finish lol. Always piaggio or saw build that wins. You realize ms460 can hit 14k rpms without trying on 32t sprocket vs a 212cc 4 stroke takes 1/4 mile to even get close to that.

For a minarelli honestly jog pipes are freaking killer. Designed for it. I have some detailed how to covert one on ebay with one cut 1 weld. Local shop even can weld one up for yeah around 50$ if you cant.

Your missing the point. Not all minarelli engines are created equal. (Cast iron) will not do what everyone doing 50mph will. Those are Athena aluminum jugs. Different porting, materials, cold seizure issues cast iron. Many reasons you don't buy 800$ eBay kits. When you can spend 900$ on engine you didn't waste your money on. Example! Smolik performance sells quality parts at same price crap eBay kits sell for. One you get screwed on and one you don't. I said what I did on this crap eBay kit what I did because it's the realistic truth. I own 3 minarelli engines. One over 2000$ one for 1200$ and one eBay 800$ kit. Far difference between all 3. I'm not knocking a minarelli. Great kits. Just know wtf your buying before you drop a ton of cash on trash many have and I get many brought to me to fix. Always same eBay eBay crap AliExpress parts. You get what you pay for
