I would recommend you to show how you hold your joystick on this combo, especially when doing some Cs. I think not everyone know how to do that.

Can we get a guide on how to consistently shoot your opponent? What's the correct position to shoot your opponent from so we don't miss shots?

It's much more about the opponent's dodging. Afterall even at green range most weapons will hit 100% of the time assuming the target doesn't move. With that said, firing straight with your partner covering diagonally seems to be the optimal approach.
