I don't think Kushina went through the same thing, it was a secret in her case. She was probably just a simple "outsider". Also, the reason everyone hated Naruto was because of the nine tails attack. I'm sure before then the Leaf's people feared the tailed beasts but they probably never hated them personally because there was no rampage like in other villages, maybe due to the amazing Uzumaki sealing abilities.

It's translated correctly here. Most of the dub is poor in the translation they used. They got good talent to do it for the most part and many of the characters are for most at least on the same lvl as the original voice actors. But the really needed to get some better people to do the translations. They out right change parts of the story at times because of the it, like that moment you mentioned. The best translation as far as accuracy to date was the fan sub from the first episode drop in Japanese. The current subs in Japanese also have issues on every platform as all 3 have differences. But they are a bit closer. For those who like sub over dub this is usually a part of why. In some cases its the Voice acting but like I said, most do a fine job. I personally just don't like the Naruto, mainly from og and Shino from both. I don't watch Boruto so no opinion there. Naruto gets better and better as the show goes on, but it's god awful in the first 60 or so episodes. Shino is terrible every line throughout the eniter series. Helps that he only has like 20 lines, but not enough to not piss me off.

this show is real werid tho. it shows that sasuke is a couple of months older than naruto but....sasuke passed the academy exam with flying colors....while naruto failed the shadow clones jutsu like 5 years in a row so really lookin' at the timeline sasuke shouldv been in a different team thats been together for 5 years before naruto passed. but some how no one aged until naruto passed his exam lol. and then everyone decided to grow up and get a team lol.
