5:36 why not rook f5 to e5...?
@khairilhanafirosli96722 жыл бұрын
Rook f5 to e5 is ALRIGHT. But Rook f7 is better. As you know, queen is teaming with the bishop for a berserk, Queen takes e3 pawn, king could not kill Queen e3 because of the bishop at a7. Yes, the king can move to the 1st rank, and the Queen and Bishop will plan for another berserk. Simply, rook f7 is better because it helps for the process of the fork, rook b7, forcing the king to move, and rook safely grabs the bishop, the Queen's lethal partner in crime. Do not look at the +2 difference from the trade. Rook to e5 did nothing but protect, and Nepomniachtchi will find another way with his Queen and Bishop, safely moving away his Queen from the threat, away from d3, making the rook e5 look kinda stupid, is it not? Rook f7, if you look deeper, is a superior move, and no move from Nepomniachtchi can make the rf7 move look dumb, even King takes rook f7, the only move, because then the other rook comes b7, creating a fork against the important king and the lethal bishop, and complimenting the not dumb rook f7 move. Magnus would think, "There must be a better way, a more superior move is this.". That darksquared bishop is dangerous.

The best move in 1:27 is knight to f5 in my opinion
