This is the 2nd song I ever heard from Megadeth and have been a stan ever since...and that was 1986. I bleed Vic Rattlehead for the last 34 years! I highly recommend "44 Minutes", "KingMaker", "Hook In Mouth", "High Speed Dirt", "Paranoid", "99 Ways To Die", "Family Tree", "Elysian Fields", "FFF"....all are 1st class ass kicking bangers!

My all time favorite Megadeth song. Bar none. Nothing comes even close. The aggression is through the roof. Dave telling a story of a game of russian roulette. Ellefson's absolutely crazy bassline whenever the guitars aren't flying. That bassline made me quit bass many times. And last, but certainly not least. The guitarsolo is the apex Mustaine solo. Speedy, accurate and extremely cool. For girlfriend Megadeth reactions.. I'd say go with an easier song. Symphony of Destruction Trust A Tout Le Monde In My Darkest Hour Those are the easy listening songs, although cool songs, but not in my top end for Megadeth, except In My Darkest Hour, which is amazing.

Megadeth is more of a Speed Metal band than a Thrash Metal band. They were always considered Thrash Metal, being part of the Big 4, but with almost 45 years worth of true heavy metal, and many sub genres clearly defined today, I think it would be safe to say that Megadeth falls more into that Speed Metal genre because their riffs are fast and melodic, but lack that chugging riff sound that thrash metal is best known for.

The 2nd was "My Last Words" and I have been a stan ever since. I almost cried in '02 when they broke up. Up to that point, I had seen them live everytime in either Phoenix, Las Vegas or San Diego..or all three. I know that I personally help fund Dave's and David's kids college tuition with all of the merch and albums I have bought including all Japanese imports and European imports. I also kept all of my ticket stubs from those shows starting in 1988. I have close to 50 ticket stubs by now. My next big 'Deth purchase will be MegaCruise if they do that again.

If your girl is first listening to Megadeth, and she's kind of a romantic type what's kind of a cool song and has somewhat of a deep meaning would be Promises by Megadeth. It was a huge hit form. It's a pretty cool video. Kind of like Twilight the movie. Or real catchy cool song that sounds like a locomotive in the beginning would be train of consequences. By Megadeth Or if she's a staunch supporter of our military, she has to hear Blood of Heroes. Me being ex-army that song. Got me pumped. And brought a tear to my eye when I thought about my friends.

Song to recommend? You could try Countdown To Extinction, A Tout Le Monde, Train Of Consequences, Addicted To Chaos, Trust, Almost Honest, She Wolf. There are others, but you can't go wrong with those.

Also Il see that you are doing lyrics reaction too, to understand better the song you're reacting. So I as a French metalhead I recommand you '' Gojira''. For me it's the best mix of greats riffs, rityms and greats lyrics. You really should check it out, also I think many of your subs know this band cause they are very popular in US.🤘🏻🇫🇷
