This is hilarious Tony Quinn is a chancer big time, and Benn was scared because he hipnotized Collins haha!
@thegranddilligaf15 жыл бұрын
I've met Steve Collins- there was no hypnotism involved- he was just fucking with Eubank's brain because that's what he used to do. Or at least that's what Steve told me when I asked him.

Cast iron soon took the place of wood in many buildings such as the Ironbridge in Telford (first cast iron structure). Cast iron is also the best material for precision machine tools so it also spawned the start of a new generation of mass produced, precision mechanics and machinery. Still used in almost every machine tool nowadays for it's strength, robustness, rigidity and speed of production it is clearly obvious cast iron was a major factor in kick starting the industrial revolution.

I'm lucky enough to come from what is dubbed the birthplace of industry, Telford, Shropshire. England. It was here and the surrounding areas where Abraham Darby first perfected the smelting of iron using coke, thus enabling for the first time the use and production of cast iron.

That was the the turning point for eubank.He hates boxing but was good at it so made it his carrer.He was never the same fighter after that particular fight.

I'm going to educate people who say Collins was an inferior boxer to the great Benn and embank late 80 and early ninthys they all were fighting at middle weight Collins was weak at the weight he was natural supermiddle he had a good run at middle till he met atg mike macallum (who beat bomber graham and Michael Watson) Collins gave him a great fight being a novice and then was on the wrong end of a decsison to reggie Johnson and lost to Sumbu kalambay another wrong decision having come back from USA Steve changed style to beat eubank and Benn at supermiddleweight and went undefeated afterthat my point is Collins at supermiddleweight turning pro could have unified the division he had a he'll of alot of experience going in to eubank fight and was very strong at that weight the brawling tactic worked for him he would have spoilt any attack with his strength and grinded down Jones toney any of them eubank and Benn in fairness had great careers but it was all sky hype Collins would have troubled them at any point of their careers
@jdig19847 жыл бұрын
Mo Money yeah that's right mo I remember that going on in media on and off with Jones. Steve should of chased him to light heavy weight I think Steve would have been comfortable in that division . but definitely out of 3 boxers Collins called him out eubanks was happy in his own bubble till it burst, and Benn was mentioned with Jones but nothing came of it.

"The mind tells the body when to stop" I wonder if Eubank was spooked by this after the Watson affair. If the Watson event did'nt happen then maybe Eubanks approach would of been different.

@Ballyhook History also shows that Steve's record is empty, he got annihilated when he tried to fight the best in america, he caught Benn and Eubank past their best, and he ducked Calzaghe so he could retire with that fake WBO belt. Gotta love that history.

@roccoryan200815 жыл бұрын
collins was lucky enough to catch Benn and Eubank past their prime. Benn would have knocked collins out if they had fought 3 years earlier, after the mclellan fight Benn was never the same again. Same with Eubank, after he damaged watson he too wasnt the same fighter, Collins was due to fight calzaghe for the WBO title, but instead shat himself and chose to retire. they are the facts.
@alcoyne33333333333333 жыл бұрын
Collins was older then both of them and they both avoided him for years .

@scullysedge Only Ali called himself the greatest. He wasn't tougher than Frazier - he was beaten twice by Frazier IMHO. Never put Frazier down in three fights. Foreman put Frazier down six tiomes before knocking him out in the second. Ken Norton broke his jaw. Earnie Shavers was a harder puncher. If Foreman and Ali fought ten times., Foreman would have won nine of them - he was awesome - shame he lost his bottle after 'losing' to Ali.

LMAO I always find it hilarious when a supposed "fan" like you knows less about the guy than someone who couldnt give a shit about him, such as myself. Steve fought in the US early in his career, the best win being a close Majority Decision with Tony Thornton. Then he was thoroughly outclassed by McCallum, and lost again in his next big fight against Reggie Johnson. That was when he ran away from america forever, knowing he would never make it to the top against the tough competition.
