Not to take away from the shakes and wobbles, but those ending tags that you called purrs or growls are actually the end of those specific words in Dwarvish. I don't recall the spellings off the top of my head, but it's something along the lines of -cht or -chr at the end.

Thank you Todd for this suggestion (and for the season 1 Supernatural reactions...I might even manage to get through season 1 for the first time myself with watching it with DJ! Great reaction DJ, the jaw dropped and I'm not sure it was picked back up again... LOL!
