There is no such thing. What he is using is called received pronounciation to make it clearer for his students to understand. It's only used by teachers (the good ones that is), the posh and richly educated and BBC people. Everyone else uses accents. My accent is the shame as Sean Bean's (we are both from Sheffield).

NeelyFanForever Actually this is his real accent. There’s plenty of people who speak very clear and pronounced like this. It sounds like South Eastern English. If you listen to Tom Hardy’s real accent it’s very similar but Britain has a huge variation of accents so there is no such thing as a British accent or even an English accent.

I’m Syrian, and just more than few days ago I began watching this series. I swear to the Mighty Lord it’s funny as heck!! I was surprised when my parents told me they knew it back then when they were in Middle School. All of the actors are hilariously talented, but I gotta admit Professor Brown (Barry Evans) is a truly handsome young man. The funniest people who draw the audience’s attention are Giovanni, Max, Ranjeet, Ali Nadeem and Juan.
