Sometimes people claim King Diamond is not a skilled vocalist. That might be attributed to his style of singing, which is very harsh on the voice. But the way he executes it takes some serious skill. I've tried to sing along to him live and my voice is completely shot after 1-2 songs, the King might often sound a bit off live but he can still carry a whole show. And in this video, he isn't even off, he's almost perfect.

my favorite metal artist of all time, who with Andy Larocque wrote MANY killer songs, vocal range beyond 99% of rock singers, and brought the horror rock STORY to the WHOLE ALBUM !!!. Pure Genius, "Abigail" "Them" and more. Now I love Ozzie and the great songs he is associated with over the years, but if you wanna dive in deep into the pit... you will find none better than the Master - King Diamond and the impossibly excellent Sir Andy LaRocque.
