Jay, this was eight months ago! You could have launched a new crowd funded business by now and created dozens of cabinets like this and sold them for thousands of pounds each. Imagine the possibilities with diferent hardwoods combined. Heck, you could still do something like this later on, at a pace you're comfortable with and not only turn a tidy profit, but keep doing the wonderful work on this channel. Seriously, read all of these comments and then tell me with a straight face that a product line like this wouldn't have a niche market just waiting for you to do your magic. This idea is pure gold.
@Flippingdrawers Жыл бұрын
You’re very kind and as much as the person who bought it from me loved it, the video didn’t do very well 💁🏻♂️ that’s youtube for you 😂

@@Flippingdrawers Ah, I see that you're not convinced. I can be the same way. Smart and stupid at the same time. It's not an insult. It's often a trait of geniuses, not that I'm one but... Bear with me. Who cares whether the video got a lot of attention? KZbin, SchmooTube! This technique has marketing potential. Even if you create one every quarter, the margins you could get for your creativity are nothing to sneeze at. The great thing about this idea is that you can sit on it as long as you like. Sure, someone else can steal it and sell their own custom cabinets but it wouldn't be one of YOURS. SERIOUSLY. This was your FIRST ATTEMPT and it's amazing! Imagine what more experience could produce. By all means, don't take my word for it. Ask around on woodworking forums. This idea has great potential, even if you only sell a few a year. I'd imagine you don't want it to turn into a cheap, commercially produced nightmare. Keep it rare and unique. Features like that sell. Also, I thought you were keeping this one for yourself. Make a new one out of walnut and oak. If your FIRST attempt was this good, I can't imagine what you could do after more experimentation. Again, take your time. Ask David, see what he thinks. Opportunity is knocking.
