I am happy to see George visit and promote our local aquarium store! It has been a pleasure to have the guidance of Ole and his staff on starting up our aquarium.

I remember this store from your last visit. It is incredible and Ole is so knowledgeable. I love how he designed his aquariums to be efficient and low maintenance. The tanks look great, too. Thank you for sharing!

I'm 27 seconds into watching this video and I can already tell you I've never seen an aquarium store like this in my life in the U.S.! I live in a large metropolitan area in the Midwest. I would absolutely lose my mind if I ever came across a store such as this! Can't wait to watch the rest of the video...TBC...

I wonder if the background sponge filters would make for good moss walls. It seems like there might be just enough suction to hold bits of moss in place.

Acrylic false backs (around the 7 min mark) that hide rear filtration can be an issue as acrylic swells and can put pressure on the silicon seams in the corners of the glass aquarium. Provided the acrylic can bow to take up the extra length the tank won't fail. I've learned the hard way.

So, I don t understand, the water comes into the filter through an aria full of medium while it exits the filter through an area with fine mechanical flltration medium. Shouldn t be the other way around, so you can clean the fine sponge thingy medium and not get the dirt stuck in the large biological medium? I am planning to build smth like this for my own and I am confused about how to make this setup. I would appreciate an opinion on this mattar much.

Great video! Thanks for that! The back filters, actually, are great! I had one on the side in a 720 liter aquarium with Discus fish running for years without cleaning. Running it with a huge power head from Eheim. In Germany, we call the filter "Hamburger Mattenfilter". Don't know what it has to do with Hamburg, but it works great. Well, thinking about to install one again.

The Hamburg Matten Filter, HMF, is just genious. It works perfect with airlift pumps, and if you use the Czeck airlift system, almost completely silent too. Silent enough to have one in my bedroom.

he explains the fish we can't see in the video. the mr Farmer also insults us for whom English is not the first language. I don't understand why it wouldn't be okay to see what they're talking about better ??? if they talk about a fish that is as beautiful and rare as those 10 fish, why can't we see it? I am disappointed with Mr. Former's comment even though he deleted it because he wrote it to his shame. and I will perfect my English sometime and he will not have his rude attitude☹️
