I don’t think Kirat was naive. I think she’s irrational, elusive and full of contradictions. Initially, I felt sorry for her but the more I listen to her talk and her story, the more I’m convinced that she’s milking this experience instead of getting the help she needs. She seems to have absolutely no insight. She’s not taking any accountability herself and just keeps saying this could happen to anyone, but I disagree….most people would have questioned all of the red flags at some point. I also am bothered by the fact that she was talking to a married man initially. I think she fancied him but won’t admit that.

Ok I have one for you. It’s insane and soooo scary. This mother in the states is suing an A.I. app because her teen son killed himself because he fell in love with the A.I bot. So apparently in this app you can create an A.I. bot. It can be a friend , a lover you can have this bot be whatever you want. This teen created this A.I girl who then became his A.I girlfriend and I don’t know the details but he became so consumed with this bot that all he would do is be in his room and chat with this bot until one day he killed himself. Now there have been several journalists that had tried this app and they say it’s so real that you think you are really speaking with a human being. The mother thinks that the bot somehow convinced him to kill himself. This is terrifying. I feel like we’re living in between the Matrix and the Terminator movies but somehow humanity will end up worse than those movies.

Please see it from a South Asian perspective. Relationships are secretly and especially women can’t come forward with their relationship unless it’s for marriage. That’s why it’s extremely easy to deceive south Asian women, and she was in her mid 30s, that puts additional pressure with marriage.

Great chat! It's interesting you say that there are similarities between Indian and Dubai culture, I didn't know that! Although my ethnicity is asian, I was raised in a very Western way and my family are also westernised in most but not all ways, mostly the lack of family orientation. I was just wondering, since you guys are of Indian ethnicity but born/raised in the UK, did you ever experience an identity crisis? Or when people ask you where you are from and if you say the UK, did they ever question that or be like "where are you really from/where are your parents from?" etc... I used to get that in Ireland because although I was born there I'm not white. I never get that in the UK, probably because it is so multicultural and no one actually asks where I am from, but I did have a lot of identity crisis issues when I was in Ireland, as I felt I did not belong anywhere.
