I have the 26L and 36L and absolutely love them both. The only major change I wish you would have made was make the 26L slightly deeper like the 36L. The Nikon Z9 fits in 26L but its really tight zipped up. I would purchase a new one to replace mine in a heartbeat if you made that one change. A smaller thing is that I wish you would add a tether point for your memory card holder in the pack somewhere but that is a small ask.

I have a well-used 45 and 26. And an occasionally used 18. The new colors look better and I like the shift to the ThinkTank logo.

I've had the 26 for a couple of years, but not used it that much. The camera compartment is fine, even largish for what I usually bring, but the non-photo part is just too small if you want to bring stuff for a day out unless it's summer and no chance of rain. Great for bringing photo gear, not so great if you plan to do a mix of different activities. And hanging the pack around the waist with the back open is very awkward when the pack is full of heavy gear.

This problem could probably be solved with a different divider set that only uses half of the camera compartment or so... As is, I always find a way to stash my little extras in between my camera gear in my Think Tank bags (I have several). But, I agree with the sentiment!

@@ColinRobertson_LLAP Agree, to some extent you can configure the pack to store non-photo gear in the photo compartment or between photo gear (I do), but reconfiguring the pack is time consuming and it's difficult to make room for larger items. Also clothing and other items can get wet, and I don't want that in the camera compartment.

The Montane Green is really nice but I can't understand why this one says Think Tank on the badge and the Woodland Green says Mindshift... are they different bags?
@ThinkTankPhoto14 күн бұрын
Mindshift was originally a Think Tank spin-off company, but we brought it back under the Think Tank brand. Mindshift represents our outdoor product line but is no longer considered a separate brand. Same company, same designers, same manufacturers, same quality.

has the updated 36L got the secret compartment inside above the main ICU area?
@ThinkTankPhoto2 ай бұрын
Yes, the features for each model are identical to the prior version. This is just a color update.

Just bought the 26L and Sprint version and really love them. Both great quality bags and the access without putting the bag on the ground is just brilliant in bad weather conditions.

I love the new colors-wish I knew you'd be releasing them when I bought my Backlight 26 a few months ago! Speaking of-my only real complaint about the 26L pack is that the belt is not removable. I do like the feature where you can access the full camera compartment without putting it down, but most of the time I would rather not have the belt getting in the way. I would re-buy the backpack again if I could either remove or tuck the belt away. Oh-and it would be a better distributed load if the laptop was in a sleeve on closest to your back. I find the 26L pretty much unusable and borderline painful if I'm toting my 16" MacBook Pro with me.
