It's sexual harrassment whether Lee (or anyone) publically says it is or not. Remember he is in the uncomfortable situation of trying to keep his private life private and not burn bridges in a very who-you-know business, and like many people, probably has to "laugh off" things that he really didn't find funny at all. Besides, even if someone says it's nbd, but everyone else can see they're being taken advantage of -- like example : with a drunk person, a child, an employee, adult-student, or kohai in a lesser position of authority, etc. etc. -- does that actually mean there's nothing problematic happening? Probably not. And that's not cool. It's not behaviour to be encouraged or dismissed/ignored.

@@keithkoganeislife3144 Bro, it’s the patriarchy’s fault, but not the man’s fault. Both men and women suffer bad consequences from the patriarchal society we live in. The patriarchy teaches us that men are dominant while women are submissive and therefore implicitly tell men they cannot be hurt by women, ie they gotta “men up.” OTHER men have downplayed sexually harassed men for this exact reason. Men cannot voice up about emotional abuse they get from their wives because people don’t believe a man can get hurt because of patriarchy. So long you don’t understand, you won’t be able to fight it. It’s a joint effort.

@@8tsunami7 Ah yes, because that is a completely relevant and valid counter-argument to what was just said... #1. A hypothetical does not require a person's *character* to be involved unless specifically stated by the proposer of the hypothetical. Meaning (for the sake of idiots like you) that him being gay is completely irrelevant as you could just as easily replace him with some random straight man off the street and *NOTHING* about the entire point being made *by* the hypothetical changes in the least. #2. Gay people *CAN* still physically sexually assault women. So even if Lee Pace, personally, *wouldn't* do it, he still categorically possesses the *physical capacity* TO do it. Which means that the hypothetical still stands completely unmoved by your ignorant comment. #3. Hitler wouldn't open up a flower shop, but that doesn't stop me from using it as a hypothetical to make a point about hypotheticals, now does it? Go fail miserably at something else *somewhere* else. Why would Mindy Kaling alienate her remaining fans by turning the Velma series and her bizarro Velma character into a mouthpiece against all of the high school drama and crime drama cliches that she hates? 😢I think she wants to entertain nobody and ruin Velma Dinkley for everybody.
