@@sophiakrishnan2053 it was an introduction paper for my professor in a social psychology course based on the patterns, behaviors & characteristics of me as shaped by society written 5 years ago. Given that the term wasn't 1st used until late 2014, & even still wasn't included in the Oxford dictionary until 2020, no, I admittedly was unaware of an obscure new term barely around 2 years at the time of writing a paper which contextually touched on my generational standing in accordance with a plethora of other variables. But please, go on judging strangers' jocular remarks in a condescending way from an anonymous platform if it brings you joy. @@leavingitblank9363 The transition from analogue to digital and the massive surge in internet use. We grew up comfortable with both worlds. We remember a time when the internet was less user friendly and people were still wary of it, but we aren't technophobic the was some gen-Xers are. Of course all these cohort things are massive generalisations. Some Gen Xer are more like Xennials or Millenials. Depends on the socio-economic class you grew up in, how conservative progressive your family was, where you live etc.

@@KenrickLeiba Agreed - I'd argue that Mindy's mentality/personality fits the older end of millennial better than Gen X - it's just a matter of what you mean when you talk about generations. I'm an old millennial and didn't see social media until after college, so my life/development is/was different from the younger end of the generation. If we're going to go by cultural stuff, generations are going to have to get smaller and smaller to account for the acceleration of tech - but they haven't yet (not that there's an official bureau of generationalizing hah). That said... I still think Mindy just didn't want to be called old ;)

People in show business are fine with seeing others in states of undress. Having done lots of theatre, I've dressed in proximity to all sorts of people. It's a given.
