Inanimate Insanity isn't anything like any other object show. I don't even want to call it an object show. I constantly forget everyone is just a simple object. Everyone feels real. This is by far my favorite Inanimate insanity episode. There isn't just a story to tell, there isn't just a fleet of relatable characters. There's so much more to it! It's a show of unimaginable talent, thought, and care. It's natural. It's beautiful. It's what Inanimate Insanity is all about. This episode surpassed all of my furthest expectations and threw them out the window. This isn't a game show anymore. The funny thing is that as much as I feel like I know so much of the story, I also feel like I barely scratched the surface of what the story truly is. Something I really appreciated was that Mephone was given so much more character. It was the biggest problem I had with the show. Mephone's character felt so single-sided. He needed this development. I can't comment enough to express how much this show means to me.

It is midnight, on a random Saturday in august, and i have never had to put my phone down to cry and think because of talking objects. This season is to say the least a heart wrenching masterpiece, everything about it is beautiful and the character development is insane. This episode, this ending, the dialogue, Its so sad but so beautiful. I have to say this is one of if not the best object show. Each character uniquely having their struggles, especially as characters who used to just be one punchline. Suitcases anxiety being one of the most heavy things for me on this season, and with so many eliminations that have already made me cry. Characters i used to hate now being characters i resinate with most now, the plot building and everything in this is insane. I genuinely thank you so much for this show because it is just so amazing and i love how it is playing out. Though i am years behind this show’s release i don’t think its ever getting old. 19:05 now back to binging :)

The character development in this series is better than a lot of official tv/Netflix shows! This show is... amazing! Same goes for the emotional moments... the show really changed and evolved from when it first began, all the characters are relatable and that’s a thing not many shows can accomplish. In conclusion This show is the best, I wasn’t there for the beginning but heck do I wanna be there for its end.

this was absolutely incredible. the amount of depth each character has and it's getting into almost dark and gritty and eluding to mental disorders the characters are developing. I love this show beyond words. when I starting watching it in year 4 I never imagined it whenever this good. I'm so so proud of what the team have done. I never know what the show is gonna do next and I love it, however I predict that Egg is gonna hatch in the last episode and it's gonna be a plot point. this show is absolutely fantastic and I have everything positive to say about it. this show was my childhood and I'm so proud about what you've done with it. never stop animating

Ok, I don’t think words can describe how good the episode is. I nearly cried at the elimination, it was heart breaking yet heart warming at the same time. I learnt a lot about MePhone, I hope to learn more, maybe about how he met the contestants? I think the Knife and Microphone scenes were my favourite ones. Especially Knife talking about Taco dropping Microphone. This is an underrated show, I can’t describe that enough. This episode might have to be the saddest II episode that I’ve seen. The emotion put into it and seeing mephone’s life and how cobs slowly removed all older meeple devices really pulled my heartstrings. Seeing 3GS and Macintosh locked in there, with the memories progressingly getting more emotional, and toilet being fired at the end is just so sad. How can an object show be so deep?

So, about MePhone... Here’s what I was able to piece together according to the memories we saw. Cobs (who I’ll call “C” for short) created MePhone in order to perform certain tasks to raise some sort of gain (this could be money, fame, or something else). As time went by, MePhone got better and better at generating things (which I suppose was included in most, if not all of his tasks). However, as C demanded more, MePhone discovered other parts of the world, other technologies, like, as we see, television (which is where he found his love of reality TV). He still grows more and more, but C also demands more and more. As C sees that MePhone may bot be able to keep up with his (or... someone ELSE’s...) demands, he begins working on something else, something new. This would be he robot of Adam’s avatar (which I’ll call the Adam Bot). C continues to neglect MePhone and work on Adam Bot more. However, Adam Bot was never able to correctly function. He was scrapped. Now, MePhone had been spying on C whenever he worked on Adam Bot, so he saw C scrap him in storage. MePhone broke in and saw what happened to C’s creations when they didn’t work (or maybe revolted, based on the old MePhone screaming at who I can only assume is C. Scared, he planned on running away, but not before saving MePad, C’s newest creation at the time. He took MePad, who was still starting up, then flew off in the giant ship he generated. When he landed, he cleared ALL memories of the MeCloud and C, then was awakened, and, remembering his passion for reality TV, started Inanimate Insanity. As for MePad? When he woke up, he probably ran off to find some sort of place to stay, however, that’s just me making an assumption. Later on, however, the two must have reconnected (haha phone joke) and began II 2. Why was MePhone so mad at the mention of “Adam?” Because Adam was to be his replacement. He fears that Adam Bot somehow came to begin working and sent Toilet to replace MePhone, but again, that’s just speculation. If you made it this far, thanks for reading, and I hope you will consider this, and maybe help me put a bit. Let’s find out MePhone’s true past, together. (Wow I just realized how corny that was but whatever)

I see a lot of people pointing out the fact that this show used to be super light hearted and funny, and now it’s a lot more...sad. I think one reason could be because a lot of reality shows are like that behind the scenes. Everyone kind of develops this hatred for each other because they’re so caught up in competition. On screen it could be fun and light hearted, but when you take a deeper look it’s a lot bleaker than it seems.

Can everyone just take a moment to appreciate how amazing this episode AND this show are. The storylines are amazing, it’s always so funny but also is quite serious at times which makes it so interesting to watch and see what happens, it has such an amazing soundtrack that is always just in the background so it doesn’t get appreciated as much as it should be, the backgrounds are so beautiful, and the animation is so smooth. I still can’t believe how good this show is. And somehow you’ve once again done the impossible and somehow made this episode even better than the last. Somehow every episode seems to top the previous one and I don’t know how that can even happen at this point because it’s always so good that it seems impossible to top and yet it still always happens. It’s always worth the wait, and I’m happy that about 3 years ago I started watching it because this will probably always be one of my favourite shows. Every single person who helped even in the smallest way towards the show and this episode deserves a huge round of applause for once again making a true masterpiece

Man, this show has come such a long way and this episode really shows that. To start, this episode had just the right amount of comedy to go with the drama. The more comedic aspects at the beginning slowing shifting to a more dramatic storyline was really well done. It's always so great to see the characters get more development and backstory to them. (Poor Fan & MePhone4...) I also really loved the art and animation in this ep, there were a lot of visually appealing scenes. The movements of the characters, objects, etc. were animated amazingly and a lot of the scenes had some really beautiful backgrounds. The voice acting was amazing as well. Everyone did such an great job this ep, they really portrayed the characters and the emotions they were feeling very well. Excellent performances! The music was terrific as well. The tracks fit the scenes very well and were amazing in general. All in all, the crew really went all out for this ep. Everything from the writing, to the art/animation, to the voice acting, the music, and anything else that went into this I might've forgot, was really well done. This was one of the best episodes yet. I love this show so much, I can't wait to see what comes next! Keep up the great work ya'll!!! 💕💖

i've just realised from the maze episode onward II has been telling a story instead of a game show. We don't have much of a choice on who goes home or the character's interactions with each other. The only choice we've got is to choose the challenge which probably doesn't effect anything. I'm pretty sure if character voting were still in our hands Nickle- i mean Nickel would have been eliminated MUCH earlier and balloon would've stayed until now.

We've come so far since season 1 my lord... I swear, every episode get's better with each installment! Mephone backstory! Fan's egg cracking! Can't wait to see how this all goes down! While Bfdi started this all and is arguably more iconic, the characters in this show are far more complex and really take advantage of the reality show concept. II characters are far more complex and interesting than almost any Bfdi character, and, while I love the Bfdi characters, their execution and stories are not nearly as interesting as this. I hope BFB can truly take advantage of its giant cast and make them all unique and distinct in their own unique ways. No hate on Bfdi or BFB, but it's this show that really takes advantage of the characters it's created, and it makes the series so damn good because of it!

I watch both BFB and Inanimate Insanity, in fact, I love both and these two are the only object shows I'm still interested in. I, however, prefer Inanimate Insanity over BFDI/BFB as well because of how emotional and unique the whole competition show is ❤️ I don't care if it takes a year to make, I just know all the remaining episodes will be better. I wonder if the finale would be an hour long tho maybe lol

Inanimate Insanity went wild this time with Episode 13. Drawing some similarities with Steven Universe and Bojack Horseman - started out comedic and niche, but developed a story over time. Each character went through their own changes in the episode, and they were all relatable. Mistakes in the past, grudges, wanting things never to change, etc. The characters have now become fleshed out with their own problems. I do wonder though what the outcome would be if contestants like Trophy, Tissues, Cherries actually ended in the final 8.

Much praise! I am thoroughly impressed with the development of this show. You and your team certainly found a story worth telling. I’m an engaged viewer who wants this show to continue to succeed. holy. cow. i am so shocked. inanimate insanity is no longer just "an object show." the amount of improvement is well, insane! i feel like a proud parent watching their child grow and mature. this episode was masterfully written and by far exceeded absolutely everyone's expectations! the wait was SOO worth it. also, i'm so glad mephone finally got some sort of development! he's been one of the characters throughout this whole show who hasn't gotten a lot of attention with development. and addition, i completely thought baseball was going to be edgy, but actually i'm really glad he did change throughout the episode. the amount of development every character had in this episode was phenomenal! 11/10 would watch again, my weave was snatched, kudos to you and your team adam!

Oh. My. God. Best episode yet. The way you wrapped up Fan's Story at the end, was brilliant. Once again, whoever makes the music, is fantastic. Just when you thought the characters were done growing with the last two episodes, you guys bust out Episode 13! It may be short, but its a 10 star book in video. The way you guys told Mephone's story gives us more respect, and was a great addition to the series. Can I be honest here? This was probably my favourite episode so far... Why? Well, this episode is simply telling us that the show is changing.. it turned from a comedy with a.. "rocky" start... To this.. it's truly unbelievable how much it has improved and how deep this show has gotten.. each episode, every character's personality gets developed even further, and Test Tube and Fan arguing... That was heartbreaking.. they looked like a married couple near the end.. oh, and don't get me started on the clifhangers, the writers really know how to make us excited for the next episode

It's heartbreaking seeing Fan and Test Tube arguing by the end of the episode. Both of them felt like a metaphor of a married couple going though a divorce, arguing over their egg (or child in metaphor state) of who will have custody of it. Ever since 2-2? (Season 2, Episode 2), Test Tube and Fan took care of that egg as its like they are a family, (and maybe act like one I think? Sry its been a long time). During this whole episode, we see Test Tube and Fan drift themselves apart more and more. When Test Tube found out that Fan was slacking off with Suitcase, I felt like Test Tube was in jealousy with Fan being with another Girl (metaphor of husband cheating), and at that point, Test Tube distance herself from Fan more. The breaking point I believe is when Test Tube tried to shoot Suitcase. As jealousy takes over her, she decided that she has to "kill" Suitcase in order for her husband to stay with her, but failed. Maybe after this point the "divorce" takes place. As Fan was maybe accused of murder and attempted murder, and was sentenced to prison (eliminated). In the very end of the episode, we see Test Tube holding on to her egg (Her Child), as she look to the moon, depressed. This may represent her being remorseful for her crimes and placing it on Fan. As for the Egg, it may grow up to have its father absent in all of its life. On the other hand, this episode is kind of like a turning point, from a chipper series, to something a little deeper. As the episode progresses, we see a lot of character development, and pieces of a traumatizing backstory of a character that wanted to forget his past of being a product of a huge company, being made to execute orders. But when discovering other products like him being discarded for being either old, or defect and locking in a storage for years, he escapes the clutches of it, along bringing another "Product" with him, so it won't experience the trauma like he did and giving it a better life. Meanwhile, the tone of episode changes. In the beginning, the colors of the background and the music seem like an average episode of the series. Humor are present in areas. As more of MePhone's memories are discovered, the color palette of the background changes to a darker and serious tone to fit in the situation (I don't know if it's related to the sun setting or the mood itself), humor seems to be absent, and music becomes more and more serious. Mephone's regain of memories at the end of the episode though, leads him into the discovery that Adam (aka his boss), has some relation to Cobs in some way, and maybe monitoring him by sending in Toilet to gain information on him. All of this, have turned dark in this ONE single episode. Also, thank you for releasing more of this content. As animation on KZbin starts to fade away, like Thanos snapping his fingers to wipe out %50 of it, your content is the only one that still keeps the animation genre alive. Anyway, I hope I expect more episodes and find out where it will lead. :) (Plus: If you guys want to add on more info into the Fan/Test Tube Divorce Metaphor, you are free to do so, and also fix some errors that I may make in this comment.) Wait so, I know I’m an entire year left, but do you think in Episode 14, do you think Taco and Microphone will try and eliminate Test Tube? I mean think about: In 13:03, Knife says “Fan and Test Tube are analyzing everyone. And you don’t want them catching you.” After Knife walks away, Taco says “Well now, who’s left,” and then proceeds to help Suitcase find the gem. Taco and Microphone don’t want anyone finding out about them, so first they got rid of Fan fist. What will be their next step? To eliminate Test Tube. But idk, just a theory ;P

I just realised that 3GS was part of the war between the eggs and cobs and the last recording was the eggs hatching... it links so well to episode 14 because we hear the same screech from egg. I would love to have more lore on the war / battle between the two sides!
