i remember seeing a minecraft philosophy video "i just want to play minecraft"- in it a very important conclusion is reached: minecraft is at its most addictive when you're not setting huge goals and massive projects like all the flashy channels do but rather achievable goals limited to one or two sessions of effort.

That's so true, I remember this one time when I tried to build a giant skyscraper in a realms server... gave up when I was 80% done because it suuucked to build. didn't even look good. But on a single-layer world I just set out to build small little towers, a silo for storage, and maybe a basement to steadily hollow out, and I love doing that much much more!

@@heliumfire I have grown to greatly prefer having a survival world with a ton of spaced out lil builds that each take, 1 or 2 hours, or, at most, 3 or 4, to build. Over a survival world that has like 1 or 2 big buildings that took forever to build but the rest of the map is sparse.

Possible goals for this series (pasted from the previous episode): - collecting every block and item available in the game (excluding ones from the surface) - mining entire chunk (up to the surface level) - creating "ancient" underground city - creating every possible farm - finding slimes (without exploits like slime chunk finders) - finding every type of dungeon (zombie, skeleton, spider) - collecting cat and 13 - creating minecart system - building a giant tree in a cavern, like an ancient relic tree of life or something - building an underground castle - in the future finale, to end up on a high note, updating to 1.0, finding the stronghold (preferably without even going to the surface) and beating the Ender Dragon (this one would be soooo cool imo!) Also a cool thing could be increasing (then the Ender Dragon thing would come naturally) versions one by one and continuing playing but still don't ever go to the surface!

ye finding those spawners can be super difficult, also the lego set sounds sick! i would prob buy a bunch of sets if they were more accurate to the game, i always just think of that set with the red creeper and it cracks me up. also regarding skyblock im not sure what ill do yet, will prob try to come up with some challenges within 404 to take more risks so it doesnt last forever, then after that i'll prob gather a few more mini series ideas and do another poll

i dislike almost all lego sets and i just dislike the corporate greed to sell a copyright to children in a form of mass-produced plastic *coughs funko pops* but Lego is at least usually fun, and it can sometimes look Good, like the Lego Nasa Rocket Saturn V it's among the few sets i'd actually want to own, but my girlfriend already has it this particular set is the only one i've seen from the minecraft collection that i actually like and isnt taking too much space I just dont like over-commercialized content in General (looking at you Harry potter sets that cost $300+)@@gengarjuice69
