Not outside of north America it isn't Edit: I've checked and there are other countries that celebrate Halloween but not the american sense. So technically it is a holiday only to a few and not an international holiday like Christmas, new years, valentine's and so on

Yeah, toycat covered one of docm's tweets in the last video and how he said he liked the gameplay change, but didn't see the incentive to go and fight it. They need a reward for the creaking, or it will feel like a useless mob.

Mojang has to first of all deal with Microsoft’s bs, and then they need to code it two separate times for Java and Bedrock, and make sure the Bedrock code functions for every system (console, mobile, windows, etc). They also need to find a way to make the Pale Garden and the Creaking actually useful beyond being cool

"Plays exclusively in adventure" It's more common than you think. Java mode has tons of adventure maps, which are played in adventure mode a lot of the time. I'm sure that some players exclusively play other people's maps, and treat Minecraft not as it's own game but as a platform to play other people's games.

The Creaking heart on peaceful is like a underground day sensor. Idk if those trees will be giving a headache on peaceful. So build around their spawn range if you use the Creaking heart as redstone underground.

I still say random weeping angels in the middle of a generic forest just feels like bad moded content. I mean like a mod I would actively be uninstalling kind of bad. The weeping angels as a concept? Not a bad concept. The Pale Forest? Fine enough biome I guess. Special log types that have unique properties? Aether did it and there were no problems there, so it's fine enough. But putting the weeping angels just haphazardly randomly IN the forest just feels. . . sloppy/haphazard. I rather they spawn in a structure that has tight corridors and mining fatigue. Similar in nature to Ocean Monuments. Like a necro-crypt you enter from a cemetery found within the pale garden. Maybe this will still happen and them just spawning in the biome is supposed to act like just a tutorial for their mechanic? But if this is the full extent of "where" they plan on implementing it at. . . then again, it just feels like a mod I would actively uninstall. I just hope these things are "daylight" sensitive and not FULLY nighttime exclusive. Like if I want to use these to defend my base, it would be annoying if I place it in-doors and just doesn't do anything cause the server is always daytime. Like, if underground, they should always be active.

the pale forest seems interesting, but the idea of the creaking being an invincible overworld mob is pretty annoying because unless it can be turned friendly to attack hostile mobs or does something useful other than just being a weeping angel copy i don't see a point of it. I have always thought that the "portal" in the ancient city could end up being a mirror dimension where things are similar but mirrored or opposite of the regular overworld and possibly nether which makes far more sense for the creaking to fit into this sort of dimension as its a reverse/mirrored enderman, the warden is an evil that came from skulk likely through the portal and could be a mirrored wither

if 1.22 isnt an End Update, i don't think any future update is more likely than the other to be it either. idk what could be a bigger hint for an End Update than a Mojang-sponsored Ender Cup on the 15th anniversary, where towards the end of the Cup there was a whole show of the previous updates in chronological order before returning to the main event.
