Awesome! I have a suggestion: Build a slot machine that has no glass blocks in the reels, but only solid blocks and you win diamonds if you get 3 diamond blocks on the reel. You pay one diamond and 3 different piston feed tapes spin at once and stop randomly. Could you give it a go?

On the server I play on people can't access your chests or break your stuff if you claim it (each player has limited claim blocks so they can't just claim the world) I managed to get around not being able to use a chest by just placing stairs facing up and leaving the stairs that were for the chest. people had no problem throwing in payment and the stuff i sold just popped out towards them. Thank you for making this easy to understand and manipulate to different situations.

Thanks to the simple wiring I was able to adjust it to give more than 1 item! It’s simple for anyone interested just make a branch off the blue wool and change the output power source to of and make it shoot 16 or 8 using a simple comparator clock!

There are ways around that using command blocks to put everyone but shop owners in adventure mode in the vicinity of player shops

If anyone is going to build this: yes, it works in 1.16. I did notice that if your item costs 5 diamonds and you put 10 diamonds in, you don't get 2 items. it just guzzles them up. So you have to put signs up saying that you have to wait for the first item to come before re-purchasing. Hope that helps somebody!

I love all the truly bedrock vids! I slightly modified this to turn on and off a zombie spawner in the top of a recreated monument that is filled with water and has an active conduit. The chest is used as a drowned "kill counter", once it's received enough loot from your kills, it lights up spawner and dispenses a prize.

thanks heaps built this on a Java Server with the items feedkng through a shulker random dropper in to hopper combo for a PVP areana. when the item.is removed the shulker breaks and waits for another 5 item payment. thanks again for your tutorial it made the harder part so much more easier!

Using Rogue Fox's payment system, I built the n:n version of his shop. It is really responsive, compact, has stock (light) and process (sound) indicators and locks the payment system after paying and until the output reload finishes, which means you can put the payment items in stack and the contraption will process the payment repeatedly without breaking. It also locks the payment system when it's out of stock. If you guys wanna know how to build it, let me know :)

Actually, I do have one question. Does this run smoothly if people want to purchase multiple of an item? For example, you want to buy 2 shulkers so you put in 8 diamonds and let them run through the system. Can the input get 'congested' and miss one while it resets, or does that top hopper lock while the shulker is being dispensed? Sorry, I hope my question is clear lol

For anyone who wants to make the selling item more than one, you can put the item in a shulker box and tell the people on the server to put the shulker box back. To foolproof the system, you can dye them a certain color to verify that they are yours

Hey! I really like the build, but I have one question. If you try to buy something in bulk, eg putting all the diamonds in at once, it only gives you one of the bought items instead of what you payed for. Is there a fix for this or do I just have to warn players to not buy in bulk?

Good question. You will probably need to pull the bottom apart and use a 10 tick clock to tick 10 times so you can count 10 items manually. making the construction more expensive to produce. Maybe a dispenser in to water stream in to a hopper would even be required so you can count 10 items reliably.

Yeah, that's the purpose of loading the hopper with all those blocks and then the item you're going to except. The hoppers will allow that single item to move through flawlessly.
